I bought my S60 on Carvana. Zero issues. I even exchanged the first one and had them pay for a scratch repair on the one that I ended up keeping.

That being said, I have heard that some people have had horrible experiences with them. They seem pretty hit or miss.

That's good to hear, thanks, I've just been curious about it while looking lately. I guess it's just a pull the trigger and give it a go thing. I bought my 1st gen on eBay, so I'm not shy about taking the risk if it looks worth it. Their 7 day/400 mile policy seems pretty good, at least enough time to get it to a trusted shop for evaluation.

Yep. I had appointments in place at a kickass Volvo shop for both of the cars I looked at. They confirmed the first one was a rusty shitbox (from PA) that needed nearly every bushing on it replaced, so I sent it back. When I brought in the one I have now (from NM), they said it was one of the best looking ones they’ve seen of that vintage. So yeah, the trial period is totally worth it.

I'm going to look at a Jeep JL tomorrow for a friend. Never been in one besides a friends dads XJ when were were kids. I'm low-key pumped, I think 2 doors look like fun.

Nice. Sounds like a good find. I've been looking at the histories of the stuff I'm interested in and if its from anywhere north of where I am in SE Virginia I just close the tab, I've been through those headaches. It's one of the cool things about that site to be honest.

If I get 2 tacos completed enough I’ll be happy.
The 98 I do plan on being done, but I’m going to go alittle more above and beyond to restore it lightly to its former glory since it’s a first year TRD offroad and under 100k miles.

The 95 will be quick. It’s pretty well sorted as it sits. Just light body work and some paint up front and on the cab corners and she’ll be ready to rock

The 01 again is at machine shop’s will. Then once the engine and trans are on the frame, the body shop will be getting the body to do all that good stuff to it..
