Spent the last 10 years between Africa and the Middle East. Of course Sleepy Joe destroyed all that we did over the last 20 years and so we’ve shifted major focus elsewhere in the region. Currently Air Force, but in a more non-conventional capacity.

Miss the hellishly tall mountains and some greenery, but that’s part of the job, but I’ve been doing this kinda thing since July 1986. I guess I’m too stubborn to change jobs!

Our good ol commander in chief. I’m also in a more unconventional unit but not anything cool like an 18 series. Im Army PSYOPS. I’ve been in about a decade now with 4 of those years being reserves yet only deployed once.

As cheesy as it may sound coming from another service member, thanks for your service brother. The seemingly never ending rotations take a toll and I appreciate it man.

Just finding out about this snorkel now! Looks awesome! Heard there might be some issues with the template being off in the past. Is that still an issue? Also, anyone know of any discount codes? Would love to rep this brand! Cheers!

Send a PM to @Crikeymike . He'll let you know of any discounts available. AFAIK, the template was never fixed, so measure twice and cut once if you decide to purchase.

I confirmed with Dobinsons the templates were updated in early 2021. Just be sure to follow the instructions step by step, then cut twice and don't measure!! LOL

Got home from deployment at the beginning of the month. Bikeweek took the first two weeks. Getting home this weekend from my annual FAA flight evals, so no more excuses! Will spend next week working up the courage to cut that 4.5" hole. This is my last major mod to add to the Tacoma. Yeah, I know, we all say that!

Thanks! I’ll be mating this to my Volant intake box, so there may be a trip to Lowes to adapt the diameter of the Volant to the attachment hose.

Looking at your pic, I’ll probably remove the wheel to make it less of a PITA!

Does everyone have 5 or 6 studs coming off the snorkel body?

5 holes on the template. 6 holes on the snorkel. Drilled a seventh in my skull to let out the demons. I had no issues mating the connection tube to my Volant. Didn't use the A pillar mounting bracket as the snorkel doesn't fit "exactly" flush. Doesn't seem to need that to support the body or trunk of the snorkel. Satisfied with it.

The price has gone up so much. Can we get a group buy for the 2019 price?

    J/K, sort of.
