Fun Friday morning. I was never short of TP. Certain things I have extra room at the house for.
Ok. Couple of pictures before I get the big wheel turning this morning. First picture shows chip comparison how big of a cut I could take prior and after changing the set up. Second picture is how I should have gone about it to begin with.

I went and got a roll of hay for the goats yesterday and decided to do something I’ve been needing to do for some time.

I went back in the store and my wife ask what were you doing with the chainsaw?

I was making clearance for the tractor canopy. I cut a little off the #2, #3, and -#4 rafters and got the tractor in about 3 more feet :D

The only reason I didn't was it's the same grade on the outside and when we get a lot of rain it would be wet in there

My best guess is if you can't leave the house for an indeterminate amount of time, you don't want to run out of TP so you buy extra.

Down here you can find the 24 packs pretty easy, the “normal” size packs are scarce. :notsure:

We are supposed to be getting some rain, maybe thunderstorms from the system that’s bringing the snow to you guys. The idiots around here are panic buying stuff like a hurricane is coming. No milk, white bread, or potted meat on the shelves.

The guy who runs the lathe is not a cleaner upper. Drives me nuts. This has been driving me nuts for years so I decided to do something about it. Yerp, a 55 gallon barrel of chips from one lathe. It’s so easy to clean out with the chip tray :annoyed:

So.. would you ever put that piece of pipe that's in the lathe on a mill to square up the end?

I have faced round stuff off in the mill before, that piece I wouldn't cause it's 2 1/2" O.D. end mills that long tend to chatter a lot.

Yea.. that's the problem I ran into with some thin walled pipe.. So I'll have to put it on the lathe. Just curious if I was doing something wrong.

Thin wall pipe tends to chatter too, not doing anything wrong there

    Oof

Like under the sink shut off or to the house shut off? The former is cake. Did 3 or so last year.
