you can get xenon replacement bulbs that fit in your stock headlight. if you're looking into projectors i'd go full HID with a DS2 bulb

    Damn, those look sexy!!

OP, that's about the best you can do as far as lighting. Search FX-R for DIY threads. Parts can be bought from theretrofitsource.com.

Cheapest upgrade is something like Philips Xtreme bulbs in stock housings and there are plenty of options in between. Look under the 'Lighting' section, there's a sticky in there called, Lighting, read this first.

Another vote for retrofitting your own. FXRs are a great option, but the D2S mini is the easiest and come in at a close second to the FXR.

Are they actually a close second or is the difference between fxr and the D2S minis easily distinguishable? I honestly don't know

I think the difference is distinguishable, but my truck is my DD and couldn't be down too long, so I didn't want to have to take the extra time to align the FXR projectors. That being said, I don't have any complaints with my D2S Minis. If anyone gets these or any other retrofit, make sure you run a good quality bulb. It makes a world of difference. I'm running Phillips 85122+ bulbs in mine.

are you kidding? it's like having the sun in front of your truck.

i had a pair very simalar and i hated it. the cutoff was terrible and no matter how hard i tried i couldn't get decent light output from them. check my build for comparisons
