I don’t even know if that’s a good deal with 46k miles on it. Never done any research

What year? And what exhaust is that? I like the upsweep. I wish mine had two discs up front. Mine just has a single pot very very anemic caliper/disc.

For sure. Battery is still on charge since they recommend the 24 hour charge on them. More to follow tomorrow

    Yeah, its a moto 3.

I bought it three years ago? I use it maybe a dozen times a year because its just a weird helmet to find a purpose for. It looks freaking great, but it's not great at much else.

    - The ventilation is basically non existent around your head
    - its open faced so its very loud
    - the lining isn't removeable, so if you're in hot weather its going to get gross
    - its open faced so if you're in cold weather you're going to be very cold (combined with the above, there's a limited temperature range I'll actually wear it in, maybe 60-80 degrees?)
    - no speaker pockets or room for comms, if that's important to you
    - it's fairly heavy, as far as helmets go
    - it's basically unusable on a highway or freeway because it's so freaking loud being open faced with no exhaust vents

If I could go back in time I don't think I'd buy it again. I don't regret buying it, because I think it looks great, but I don't use it a whole lot anymore.

edit: realized I didn't say when I actually DO use it - when I'm just taking the cb750 around town to stretch it's legs and get some miles and use on it, or on a mildly sunny day going for a quick run to the beer store err grocery store or something

I use to only wear 3/4 open face helmets because I always liked the looks of them. I actually have a few vintage ones as well. Wind making my eyes water constantly (even lost a contact in one eye once), getting hit in the mouth with road debris or bugs and generally just loud AF.
When I got my first full face, there’s really no going back. I still keep the helmets in the garage but they’re wall art now.

I’ve only got 6k miles under my belt, but I’ve had enough bugs or debris hit my face shield that I’m not sure how you’d ride with an open face helmet. :notsure:
Maybe I’m not hardcore enough. :anonymous::ballchain:

    Helmet wall art ftw.

Surprisingly I have only owned 3 my entire life, which means thank God I never actually needed to use my street helmet because it probably should have been replaced years ago.

Yeah, I am pretty sure my cheapo dirtbike helmet from 15 years ago is useless but I still wear it

Two of my favorite helmets in my collection are my dad’s old helmet from 70/80s with a deep orange metal flake and the other is a vintage helmet from the 60s that was originally for USN carrier deck personnel. It was originally white but a buddy painted it it red. Luckily I was able to save the Dept of Navy decal. I’ll post a picture later. @4x4Runner might get a kick out of it.
