Yea there's a second. IDK if it's m2 though cuz it looks different. Looks more like the RAM slots.

 

If this slot isn't used I bet you could stick one here behind the cover:

 

What mobo is in it? There's usually at least two m2 slots on them now. What I'm getting at is keep the 500gb m2 for the OS and most programs. Get another m2 and use that for storage.

Does anyone else follow Brian Jones, @traderbjones on twitter? I've been following for several months and he has a pretty damn good record. I recently started dabbling with pretty low stakes follows with some good success and thinking about stepping it up to a couple grand per trade. This morning hit on GFAI for a quick 12% - it ran up a little over 20% and then 10% stop loss took it out.

 

you can tell in your device manager what your drive is. Or in resource monitor then google it to see if it's an M.2.

Or unscrew the cover lol

You could use a PCI-e to m.2 adaptor if you want. I'm not sure what your MoBo is and I assume the bottom slot is at least gen 4

The board linked has an M.2 above the GPU and one below among other differences. it looks like this one only has this bottom one.
