I also learned as a valet.Local restaurant I worked as a bus boy. One Saturday night the owner came to me and ask can you park cars tonight? I don’t have a license! That’s not what I ask you! Sure!
It was super busy when a guy pulled up in his Honda prelude. Being by myself I told him just leave it there and I will get it. Jockeyed the cars around that one until the rush was over. Then got in it pushed the clutch in let it roll back to the end of the parking lot and proceeded to teach my self on this guys car. I was completely new I had ridden a friends dirt bike, so I had the idea.
A couple years later I thought my wife how to drive stick in a 79 bronco on 38’s. She picked it up no problem.

These will start when the piggy bank is full.
If you’re still looking, I sold my 3rd Gen and took these rear seat deletes made by Goose Gear out before.

extremely well made, fit like a glove and held my two 70+ lb dogs fine with no visible wear.

looking to get $800+ you cover shipping they breakdown and can be shipped flat so it shouldn’t be an issue.

I just went the bed rug mat / dewalt tool box route I saw others doing in the access cab storage forum but I am still tempted by this. I don’t want to put you out as I’m on the fence but if you have an easy way to quote shipping these to 17113 zip let me know…

My first 4 new vehicles - from 1984 through 2005 - were manuals. I don't miss them though. With all the hills around here you have to be quick letting out the clutch and giving the right amount of gas - which I did actually very well. In Allegheny County there is a red light on Penn Avenue in Wilkinsburg, where the Lincoln statue made of pennies use to stand (I don't know if it is still there; I haven't been that way in years). Anyway, my mother who learned on a standard back in the 1950s and grew up in Wilkinsburg, said this was the real test in her town as to how well you drove the manual. I never had a problem there. The other issue is in highway traffic. The constant letting the clutch in and out is tiring when you are sitting for an hour or more in rush hour traffic. No, I am too old for all that, or too lazy.

My first three vehicles were manual, but then I was stuck with an automatic for the most recent two. It wasn't even on my "must have" list when I was looking for this truck, but I got lucky. Now that I have it, it's my favorite feature. I drive more than average for work (25k/yr) and this is much more fun and engaging.

Finally gonna be driving the truck without it pulling to the right. Fook Mavis before and after alignment specs. Mavis charged me 220$ and my local tire place charged me 125$

When my oldest daughter bought her first vehicle, I had to test drive the stick Saturn. Only took her an hour or so in a parking lot on a Sunday morning, then out on the road.
She shocked all of her college friends by driving a stick. Guys gave her a lot of respect. She taught a few of those guys, too.

Well boys better get your plows on, gas up the snow blowers , bust out the Bronko Nagurski long underwear cause we have a "Major winter storm" rolling in on Sunday afternoon into Monday afternoon. In the Pittsburgh area they are predicting 8 to 12 inches. I have to put the plow on the grizzly , I guess tomorrow and gas up , air up , check oil ..... members out east and north I believe will get more. Hope the storm tracks more south and we get less.:fingerscrossed:

Pino James Vern - 13 yrs. Deaf. He's at the age where he conserves his energy. :) Awesome though. Loves to explore at the cabin. Always (almost) keeps an eye on me to see that I am not too far away.
His little sister (jack-mix) gets him riled-up by barking at imaginary things and he can hear/sense that (usually from a deep sleep) so he joins in as not to miss anything. Can't hear me tell him to stop. She's a trouble maker.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Most of the vehicles I've owned over the years have had manual transmissions and I've always loved driving them. Decided to go with automatic when I bought the Pro, though, and I'm content. I still have the Z3 for fun. The shift knob I have on it says it all:

Boy did it get cold out last night. Was at my brother's old house packing up and all the boys came over to help us out. I finally tapped out around 9pm. With all this metal in my legs I couldn't handle anymore. Supposed to be going back there today to finish up. Then off to the new house. New house sits on 1 1/2 acres backed up to the woods. Less of a headache to drive to also. Nice over head pic

That's hardcore. It's been a rough week in the trees too. What's that quote about "no bad weather, only unsuitable clothing"...? That's about 80% true, I'd say. You've got to compromise on somethings, like gloves, if you actually want to get any work done.

Here's to those guys. Hope they're not suffering out there.
