Very impressed with these $6 cans of stainless steel paint. I had a legit excuse to redo my beadlocks because I didn’t put spacers between the rings initially and coned the rings a tad

 

I dig it!!! It's like the opposite of my truck!

 

Also had a VERY NICE morning enjoying my freedom.

Truck is ready to wheel.
- all beadlock rings replaced with silver ones & ring spacers added for a better ring seat.
- DS firewall hammered for 100% street clearance w no rub and some wheeling without obviously full bump clearance but a decent amount for now.
- PS CV axle replaced (Napa lifetime warranty on axles FTW, free axle here I come)
- 1.25” spacers added to rear for shock relocation clearance.

 

So it’s ready for KOH?

No regrets with the silver rings I’m digging them. Also with driving habits I can still get 13.5/14 city MPG which is sick

Put some miles on my favorite new tool (Milwaukee 18ga brad nailer). Wife wanted board and batten in our entryway so I am knocking it out right now. Still need to fill, sand, caulk and paint but it’s coming along nicely. I feel so blessed to have so many different tools. I always end up busting out the jigsaw and router for stuff. The router has been awesome to chamfer the bottom edges of the batten boards because they’re thicker than the base boards. Also trying to make outlet cutouts look a little nicer than just a cutout. Needs caulk and paint

 

Also finally washed the truck, it’s been a while. Hoping to wheel within the next couple of weeks. Also I’m going to make some tabs for my light pods so I can weld them to my front winch plate somewhere.

 

This angle makes it look like an RC truck, in the BEST way possible!
