I don't have my license yet, but working towards it, and yes tax preparer so we start in january issuing W2's, 1099s, and all those good quarterly reports lol.

 

Morning fellas, the long weekend is here!

 

Nice, yeah I'm gonna need help for 2021, probably will end getting a cpa to start me off since this will be a new norm for filling, gonna attempt to file schedule F, not much income but there are expenses about 5k, do you think that 5k farm expenses count towards the married standard deduction?

I haven't dove into looking into this yet. But regardless I need file the schedule F to be eligible for additional grant funding from USDA/NRCS etc.

Finally was able to get his apartment in Austin.

 

Good deal.

Headed to farm tomorrow morning, gonna prep a site for a 12x32 storage shed, got rock base on delivery for Monday morning. Taking some items down there and then bringing back more garage sale items to the house.
I'm trying to keep my move stress free...


I'm thinking the delivery will be the week of the 24th, don't know till I get a call, but after this Monday I will feel better knowing that I will have the site ready to go for this shed.

Not entirely sure what you're asking here as these two are separate and unrelated. The STD deduction for MFJ 2021 is going to be $25,100. Anything from your schedule F will flow from that to schedule 1 line 6 and then onto the pg 1 line 8 of the 1040. Your "loss" on your schedule F will act as an offset to other income you have for the year, effectively reducing your tax. Hope this helps some.
