My son has been watching that, he's also been watching Lone Ranger a lot. He made him a black mask and wears it with his cowboy hat, someone called him Long Stranger the other day cause he's tall

 

Could see that one coming. Fox news made it sound like we won't be able to get out of the house for a week.

 

At least it’s not an all out saltfest like here.

 

I still watch Andy. My wife just rolls her eyes.

 

I watch Gunsmoke all the time. Don’t Matter if it’s B&W.

 

If I'm watching any of the old shows I prefer the B & W ones

 

He got him a sleep mask and cut eye holes in it.

 

I used to go to the tobacco sales with my granddad. James Arness would be there dressed like the Marlboro man.

 

Get Sadie some feathers and she can be Tonto.

 

I've got 600+ episodes of the Lone Ranger radio show (50s) in my old-time radio collection... listened to one biking in to work this morning!

 

So the Lone Ranger got captured by the bad guys and was tied up. He calls Silver over and whispers in his ear. Silver returns in a lil bit with a beautiful blonde woman . Lone Ranger says posse , dammit, I said Posse !

 

Bet He’s still tied up too.

 

The Lone Ranger radio:

"The Lone Ranger would say 'Tonto, I want you to go to town.' And every time he went to town the bandits would beat the snot out of him. They'd get him. (Punch) 'Nice to have you in town, Tonto.' (Punch)

And he'd go back and the Lone Ranger would look at him. 'Oh, my goodness, Tonto.... Did you get the information?' 'Yes, me have information, Kimosabe.' You know, that kind of thing...

And I'd always holler at the radio, "Tonto, don't go to town, they're going to beat you up again, man.'

Just one time, he should say 'Tonto, you go to town.' ... 'You go to hell, Kimosabe.' 'But we need the information.' 'Information say me no go to town.'"


Anybody remember where this came from?

 

Repeat job again. Last March was last time I made one.

 

The Lone Ranger and Tonto were about to be attacked by a savage group of Indians, vastly outnumbered. Lone Ranger turns to Tonto and says, “Well, I guess we’re in for it now.” Tonto looks around and replies, “What do you mean ‘we’ white man?”

 

In his later years, the Lone Ranger and Tonto were catching up on old times. After awhile the Lone Ranger paused and said “I have some sad news.”

“Tell me, old friend” said the faithful Tonto.

“Well...I recently was diagnosed with Cancer.”

“Bad spirits,” replied his old companion.

The Lone Ranger looked off into the distance for a minute. “After all your years of wisdom, what do you think I should do?”

“Chemo, sabe.”

 

So to follow up on this, a tad. The guy they were looking for was arrested and out the next day, his dad I don't know if they even arrested him. A friend of ours who is a deputy sent us a message just now and said they are looking for him again he has a WFA for death by distribution

 

So I used (4) 1/8" pieces super glued to the chuck jaws for a stand off. The part is indicated in and I knocked those 4 pieces out with a small punch.
Ready to turn the second side. I did end up having to make a couple of plates for a different job, but those were easy peasy bandsaw affair.
Time to make chips again.
