I got myself a publik edumacation
Suppose I weigh about 150 lbs.

Do I use all the leverage or just a little bit?

And is synthetic oil ok to use on the threads. Or is conventional recommended?

    Happy Friday my TW fam.

You should face the torque vertically for best results, then sit on it to get the correct spec.

Three jumps per nut should be sufficient.

I jumped down on the wrench, thus spinning the nut clockwise. I figure 150x6 is at least 900 Lb/Ft of torque to the rear wheel. I figure I’m right up there with @Torspd by now.

Holy cow man! Did you get a picture of me trying to break the lugs of my work truck this week? I had a flat Wednesday and when I tried to break the lugs I had to stand on the wrench. It worked on 4 of the 6. I called a service mechanic to come help and he had a 3/4” breaker bar. Well after we broke the impact socket we broke the breaker bar. Then out came the impact…nope lugs rounded off. Well let’s drive a smaller socket on it…nope rounded off. The mechanic said I got a grinder. I said call a rollback this is going back to the shop that put the tire on 2k miles ago.
He replaced two studs and all lug nuts.
    What a day!

Just add 20% more torque to the other 5 nuts.
    Problem solved.
