If they say they can't help it sounds like you picked a crappy shop that won't help when things don't go perfectly. Since you bought the system you can install the software on a personal computer and maybe work something out with magnuson or vftuner and see if they will hook you up with getting your VIN loaded and do the re-flashing yourself. It's pretty simple.

if all cylinders are causing a ignition code on that side i dont think swapping it would tell you much. I would put money on a connection that worked loose or something physical

might help if we knew where you are - i.e., add your location in your information - could be one of us is close and can assist. All that aside - I'd say the shop that did your install is suspect. Any reputable shop, especially one that does an install should be able and agreeable to look under the hood and see what maybe detached or damaged. Doubt it is the Tune as it would have shown DTC as noted soon after initial start-up and not after successful use. Maybe take and share some pics - maybe we can see the obvious or help diagnose what maybe the cause of the problem(s).

Make sure the fuel and ignition coil rail section is plugged in on both sides. I forgot to plug in my passenger side when I did my install. First start up gave me a panic attack. Found the plug not connected, connected it, boom, good to go.

I just received my Supercharger and I have a question: I have a 2021 and it looks like there has been a ECU TSB update since I got my truck. Do I need to do that update before flashing the Magnusson calibration file?

I ask because Ryan at Magnusson sent me a file for my current ECU ID so I'm not exactly sure what I need to do: do the ECU TSB update or not? Realize if I do the update, I will need a matching file from Ryan to go with it.

Long term, I will go with the YotaWerx tune as soon as it's available.

You shouldn’t need to. I’m still running the original 2018 ECU code on mine and the tune has worked fine.

You can run the current ECU ID and tune as long as you want to. If you ever want to update then just email Magnuson and they will give you an updated tune. Then you flash back to stock tune, update ECU ID, then flash the new Magnuson tune. I've done it, and it's documented here on TacomaWorld and VFtuner's forum. No issues and Magnuson had no problem giving me an updated tune. Same will (most likely) go for yotwerx tune as well. The same even goes for even the ovtunes.

I can say without any doubt, because I am driving and testing the YotaWerx SC tune that the YotaWerx product is head and shoulders above what Magnuson is providing. I can't say why Magnuson won't take full advantage of the VFtuner software, but I can say YotaWerx is, and the drivability of their Tune will impress you and leave you shaking your head about how poorly the Magnuson Tune drives. Stay in touch with @mZiggy and YotaWerx for progress and release information.

Yeah man, I'm pretty excited to say the least. Good thing I'm currently deployed and not driving my truck every day just itching to get a better tune... Lmao

I can’t wait for the yotawerx tune. I’ll definitely be buying. Its been a year since install and I did have it stall out on me once. Dash light up like a Christmas tree saying AT temp too high. Restart and it never happened again. Scanned it and had some random misfire codes nothing serious. The Maggy tune always felt like it was lacking.

Just got my supercharger installed yesterday. First drive impressions are good, not great. My truck with al the extra weight of a gfc, sliders, skid, suspension etc, drives a little sluggish up hills, and with the SC it now comfortable cruises up the local grades around me at a chill 3k going 70mph. Off the line on flat ground there is definitely more grunt but i was expecting a little more excitement. I’m still not giving it full throttle, i thought there was a break in period?
Anyways, looking forward to the yotawerks tune, following along to get the updates

Btw, anyone with a aftermarket front bumper have to relocate the water pump mount? Also, has the water pump mount shifted or loosened up at all in the modified location?
