Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

    I thought mine was bump steer for a long time as well. After talking with Jesse he explained it was just feedback from the pump not being able to keep up. I followed his advice and got the pump and I’m happy. It doesn’t eliminate all of it, but it’s a damn nice difference. I have no regrets.

    With the stock pump when you hit something be it a bump, rock or a dip in the road with one wheel and the steering wheel wants to turn that is feedback. Feedback is felt due to the low line pressure since the oem pump doesn't make much pressure at low rpm's. Bump steer is when your wheels steer themselves during suspension compression due to the steering linkage and control arm angles being at different lengths and/or angles.

    Thanks for the education fellas. I'm really excited for this heavy bill year to end and 2023 can rise on to some new fun for the truck. Also eyeballing those pivots for sale in the BST thread....

    35s, flatbed, rhino liner paint, SOS front bumper, JD Fab lca pivot, JD Fab inner fenders and some other stuff.
    I have a question regarding the inner fenders. I'm wondering if it's worth while to get rid of the abs bullshit dealy mobob (technical term) that sits on the passenger side fender? Also if you did get rid of abs what is involved in the process? Sorry, I don't mean to be spoon fed. Anyone know of a write up on abs delete or is it pretty straightforward?

    The kit is not listed under the 3rd gen page. I assume because it’s a different motor, it would require a different setup.

    I deleted mine to fit my UMP. It’s fairly straight forward stuff. You’ll need line, a couple y blocks and a proportioning valve. Front brakes are the port closest to the booster, rear are the furthest from.

    What did you do with the wires that plug into the unit? I'm guessing they have something to do with the wheel speed sensors?

    I just taped everything up and tucked it away. You will have lights on, but that can be resolved. Then I drilled and tapped my wheel speed ports and threaded in pipe plugs to completely eliminate the BS.

    Have you tackled the boot conundrum on the slide rack? Living in BC so much salt and crap on the roads makes me wonder how the rack will hold up to dirt ingress.
