    i actually prefer our Lowe's here over the Depot (sorry Homie) the salespeople in HD always look at me like I have two heads, Lowe's people are more friendly.
    Hardware stores and auto parts stores are all the same...i either get guys who treat me normal or who treat me like i'm a lost child because i'm shopping there without a man.

    I go to Christiana and Concordville. Sucks to drive for something small. Lowe's is changing their model a bit. More like Tractor supply, Ace Hardware and Target combined. Plus they've re-organized the store like 3 times in the past two years. Can't find anything. For example, in plumbing, all of the valves are together. PVC, CPVC, copper, all together. Pipe and fittings are in another aisle. So if you are doing a PVC plumbing job, you can't just go to one section. It's so F'ing dumb.

    If im there I'm either looking for something that dad asked me to pick up for one of his woodworking projects - they don't have much for hardware stores in their town - or I'm getting something for my camper. Either way I'm on a mission and know what I need so just leave me alone!

    Both stores here are 50/50 kids and old, probably should be retired, guys.
    If I ever get the "are you lost in the big, scary hardware store?" vibe from them when they ask if I need any help I usually ask for something really obscure and random. Like I'll be in plumbing and ask for some random screw or drill bit that will be in a whole other area of the store. There's always that split second of panic on their faces when they realize they have no idea what I'm asking for but they lead me over there anyways.

    Hey homer, can you get corporate to increase our store size?? I can’t remember what they said but our local store is either the smallest or second smallest hd store in all of Ontario or Canada. Either way it’s too damn small lol
