I know the reputation of Rough Country is not that stellar but I wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this particular bumper.

I'm in Florida and its mostly mud and roots that I content with so I don't need a full rock crawling setup. That said I don't want to put something on the the truck that will look cheap or perform poorly when needed just to save a few bucks.

    Lol... more like Rough Copy!

Normally, I'd say patron small USA made shops, but given the ridiculous lead times, lack of customer support/communication, and the ever rising costs, I don't blame anyone for going this route.

No experience with that bumper... but I'd expect minor flaws and sub par coating. As long as you're willing to address or live with these problems, then go for it. At the end of the day, it's just welded steel.

I do like the flush/integrated fairlead. That's a nice touch.

    Work in progress...
Looks pretty good. I think the SSO Slimline may have it beat for around the same price? If you don't need to bush the bushes outta the way I would say "give it a try."

that is pretty cheap for a front bumper. but i think it should be fine. i mean rough country makes a bunch of lift kits for a lot of trucks. and nobody complaint about the products breaking.

I like the OS Slimline much better. It's not that much more and looks to be better fabricated. I'm planning on putting this on a 2021 TRD sport DC 4WD. I'm going to start with the lift and tires and "back into" the bumper.

Lead time is not an issue and I'm happy with the current look which is why I don't want to depart too much from the OEM styling.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Thread revival doing bumper comparisons..

How does Rough Country call this bumper a hybrid? Perhaps the manufacturers they copied was a hybrid.. but this one is not.
