Update with dyno with 91 octane only, No methanol.
    At 6000 feet.
The haltech is 90 percent tuned, we ran short on time to finish the top rpm section and the methanol switch and I had a dyno already setup.
So the top rpm’s are just a bit soft, not fully tuned.

The results are in and what you can expect.

The haltech is definitely the SILVER BULLET for the supercharger tune and probably the turbo.
My max hp at 5000 rpm’s and torque will be pretty close to the same with the supercharger with the stock ECU and Haltech AT 5000 rpm’s.

    BUT THE HUGE DIFFERENCE IS,

The new power band you get at 2500 to 4500 rpm’s.
This is typical where we run our motors at probably 80-90 percent of the time anyways,
So the top rpm’s hp is not really that important here.

The graph in green is the stock ECU a year ago
The graph in blue Is the Haltech ECU today.

The AFR, torque and hp curves are super clean and linear now.

The torque gains are as much as 60 pounds of more torque 2k-4k rpm’s,WOW!

AT around 3k rpm’s the stock ECU is at 239 pounds of torque and the Haltech is at 298

At around 3k rpm’s the stock ECU is at 142 hp and the haltech is at 177hp

The HP gains are as much as 35 more horsepower 2k-4k rpm’s.

The sweet spot is 3k-4k she pulls so hard with the extra 60 foot pounds in any gear!

Gas mileage is about the same

Redline was raised a bit too

I’m super happy with this upgrade and special thanks to Gabe For making these available for the 3.4 motor and his tune.
It definitely turns the 3.4 supercharger motor into the beast it can only get through this HALTECH setup.
At 680,000 miles my truck has never run so well or had so much useable power.
    http://www.snpspeed.com/

This was also done using my stock injectors, some of the 3.4 this will pass and some it might not depending on your motor.

Those are great gains low to mid range! and on 91 octane...about 280 wheel with 305 torqs at 6000ft with no methanol! do you know what the Density altitude was by chance?

The dynojet is showing a correction factor for density altitude already so technically these are his numbers at sea level and some median temp I think.

This is how dyno number are mostly done, my 1st numbers with PFI were actually 280 hp rear wheel but the altitude is lower there

ok that makes sense. how much better would it have been with methanol possibly 20 more hp & torque through the range?

Do you guys know which 160 degree thermastat works for our trucks? my truck stays cool but rips so much harder right before I'm at my operating temp.

Don’t really know, the methanol has to be tuned on a separate map,
I ran the methanol just a little at 20 percent and it just made the AFR TOO RICH

With the haltech Gabe was able to tune it on the stock injectors with plenty of room .

I think there is one out of anothe model that fits that is a 160. pretty sure thats where they used to get the 160s they offered with the supercharger years ago

With the haltech Gabe was able to tune it on the stock injectors with plenty of room .
He said some 3.4 this works and some it doesn’t[/QUOTE]
did i see you were running higher fuel pressure too? my stock injectors and stock fuel pump barely made it to 4 psi on my turbo before maxing out. considering all loses including supercharger those puppies are suffering through well over 300 hp.

just read this and thought i may add. idk about the haltech setup u have but with stock ecu the fuel pump on these trucks does not run with the key in the on position. only while cranking the truck and after it is running. when on it is running continuously and is completely regulated with the fpr as it constantly circulates

If I had to make a guess:the stock computer was your limiting factor in your turbo setup for sure. our fpr is constantly circulating fuel with the excess going back to the tank. Im sure with the haltech it told injectors to up their duty cycle spraying more for combustion and in turn the fpr recirculated that much less fuel back to the tank. I'm sure trd would not have left the supercharger setup the way they engineered it if the injectors duty cycle was pushed anywhere near capacity

injectors were maxed using an aem fic6 not just stock computer. its also possible that original 1995 pump and injectors were well past their prime. replaced with aem 340 pump and 550cc injectors quickly after.
