New to posting and not sure if this is the right place but I have zinc oxide from sunscreen in many places on the interior (door, seats, steering wheel etc.). I'm not sure how to remove it without damaging the surfaces. Any suggestions?

    Thank you in advance.

I would try to remove it asap as l recall a few threads on here where the door panels and steering wheel ended up with a green tint after sunscreen exposure.

Ive known a friend who had the black plastic discolor and turn grey/white after sunscreen. Maybe try some rubbing alcohol then some plastic conditioner?

Well, don't want to upset you, but 2 things are really deadly and non-reversible for car interior/exterior plastics and clear coat/paint:
sunscreen and bug repellent. Both contain complex acids of coconut oil, they reacting on molecular level with such materials.
I can only recommend to replace the panels affected and be really careful with this stuff when it's in use (like your arms sprayed with sunscreen, put something between
    your elbow and armrest, e.t.c.)

    I appreciate the warning/advice.

Sadly it was the previous owner who got it all lathered up but I'll remember this after I replace the panels. Cheers.

So, I just used chemical guys nonsense invisible super cleaner paired with a boars hair brush and micro fiber towel and I'd like to report 100% success!

    The sunscreen is gone! Huzzah!

Just saw this thread and was going to recommend this product. Its amazing, especially with a detail brush

Make sure to apply a protectant over it though to help the surfaces from dulling/cracking/etc, such as their Silk Shine Dressing or Total Interior spray, or leather conditioner depending on the surface cleaned.

Wife has the truck now but I'll post some later today. Still have the passenger side to do.
