Sweet! I'd have kept the 48 Power wagon and pit a bucket on it! Love them old Power wagons.

I was told by a Toyota Corporate mechanic that ALL 2015 to present Tacoma's do it but it is us rubber mat guys that notice it, the carpet mat guys just get drenched and are not aware of the issue. Supposedly if you run the AC with outside air input and crack a window or the sunroof the AC will drip condensation onto the passenger side. The dash was redesigned from the 2nd Gen version and something must have happened with airflow to keep that condensation from forming in the first place. I had a 2008 model for 14 1/2 years and never had that issue as I had Weathertech's so I would have seen it.

The Corporate mechanic suggested to the dealer mechanic to tweak the expansion valve. I and the Dealer mechanic came to the conclusion that would mess up the cooling. We decided to place some extra insulation where it drips from to help. It did help, I went from 100 drops to maybe a few now. To catch those few drops from the carpet I purchased some black sponges to cram up under the inside AC unit so the water will evaporate in the sponge and not the carpet. It is not a safety type issue so no recall on Tacoma's for it. Plus they really have no idea what to do to completely stop it. I suggested a strategically mounted fan to keep that area dry but it is pretty tight under there.

probably a good idea to do the brakes and PS fluid at 30k. But not for that price. Fuel injector cleaning for a bottle of seafoam and a heat soak. very easy to do. $10. They aren't wrong. But their prices are typical, judging by the cost of the oil change.

If you are married, do you really own anything? It's all hers. Even the tools in the garage... hers. She just never touches em!

Wait... isn't that the entire point of the drain line strategically placed to rust out the frame rail?

I'm glad I don't have a marriage like that. Ours is admittedly weird. She has her money and her stuff. I have my money and my stuff. Neither of us has any say about what the other does with their money/stuff. We set up an allowance based on relative income into our account for our stuff and as long as the bills are paid and the rainy day fund grows we call it good. I'm not sure how I got this lucky.

More of a weekend project but got it done!
Added the SSO Hybrid bumper with BD S8 light bar and Warn winch. Went ahead and did a viper cut as well.
Overall I’m pretty happy with my end result.
I had Raptor lined my bumper a month prior.

    Thanks for the details.

Wow, that seems so unsatisfactory. In the rainy PNW I don’t use the A/C much. Summertime for sure tho. Cabin is semi arid desert territory. Daytime temps can reach 41 celsius or 106 Fahrenheit. Don’t recall seeing any condensation dripping ever on my OEM all weather floor mats in any weather conditions. I guess this is not really a common issue as I've not heard of this until now.

Just add it to the long list of stuff to keep an eye out for that you wouldn't expect to need to, like leaking third brake light seal, loosening prop-shaft bolts, rear differential eating itself alive, condenser drain line rusting out your frame rail, and likely a host of others I haven't heard of yet.

Nice. I had a buddy tell me they used additive every fuel up. If you've ever sent an oil sample into blackstone, the results come back with any additives for like the next 3 samples. No need to use additives in fuel or any other fluid so often. Once or twice a year should do it.

But I was referring to the heat soak for injectors. Ever done it? It's the spray version.

Purchased a roam awning on 1/4/22. It was their 6.5ft awning in black. Said it was in stock. Their q&a page said products ship next business day… I called on the 10th and found out that it was backordered till late April. However the customer service lady looked through their vendor list and told me that northridge4x4 had the roam 6.5ft in slate/navy. I placed my order and it shipped in 1 hour. It arrived today 1/14/2022

However their hardware and metal spacer was not seating high enough on my bedrack and was resting on the top bolts of my bedrack so I got metal flat brackets and well… it worked.

Just pulled from Google for a better explanation:
RAPTOR is a durable protective coating and bed liner that is designed to tolerate the toughest climatic conditions and can be applied to a wide range of. substrates from steel, wood, concrete and plaster to plastics and composites, resistant to common fuels, U.V., scratches and stains.

Here's the results of the magnuson on the '16 TRD OR. Black lines are stock (with MBRP catback) and red is after the addition of the magnuson.

For those wondering about fuel consumption:

No blower, 87 octane, around town with a mildly heavy foot: 15mpg

With blower, 91 octane (required), around town with a mildly heavy foot but slightly more conservative: 15mpg.

Dumb question your truck looks so NICE! Are you going to take it off road and 4x4 it and get mud, dirt and scratches on it? I spent 1 1/2 years fixing my 48 Power Wagon you could eat off any part of it. I drove it 10 miles and sold it knowing I could never get it that clean again. I try not to get my Challenger dirty I dust it off at the end of our dirt road going to town each time. Same when I get home then put a cover on it. I don't treat my Wife's (their I said it) Toyota the same way. I do wash it off when it gets dirty but don't hand dry it each time. I get snow on hers but not mine! I just see so many super clean Toyota's on here!! My other trucks could go a whole winter with out a bath?
