Pappy's and "skirting around St. Louis" are two very different directions.

    That being said

Pappy's is the bees knees. Get there early though, they don't keep anything frozen. Once they're out, they're out.

I like that! I wouldn't mind doing something similar. Gonna see if I can get an expired SCBA bottle from work to mount in the spare tire location for a little reserve air on tap

Will do! Our turning mark coming across Lake Superior is right off Devils Island. That's about as close as we get to Bayfield!

Ooh, now you have a tough choice!

Which version of the Outpost would you get?

Well, I guess the choice is made for me, they don't make the Outpost in the size and or load ratings that l want. BFG it is! For now....

As I looked at the route last night I am on the right side of St Louis for a Pappy's stop. Told my daughter that we could make a visit to Pappy's and she lit up like a pinball machine! Now I need input on mountain biking in the Mark Twain NF. Looks like I can spend an easy three days getting from Des Moines to Bella Vista (maybe more) with some biking and wheeling thrown in... Then into the Ozarks...

Never resist, it just lengthens the time of mental anguish until you finally breakdown and make the order.
