    Between, tacos one night, pizza another 20220115_111330.jpg and recent cinnamon rolls, when I got up from my morning nap and seen these upstairs, wondering if we connected on some cosmic level.
    I think a mighty fine poll...well because you know..:p
    Does anyone get to be Tiffany's favorite ever...could I be first:confused::rofl:

    We just gave out a cost of living raise. Actually, the 4th one in the last 2 years. Very hard to keep people at all levels right now. In the beginning, it was people out with the covid exemptions and all that, getting paid more to stay home than to come to work. We lost a lot of people to that. Mostly unskilled labor (sounds harsh, but it is a classification of some workers). Minimum wage here in NY is now $15/hr, so they were making decent money to stay home. Our skilled guys mostly stuck it out, we were busier than all get out then and still are to this day. Building trades are setting records every quarter. Now, we are losing people to competition. Hiring is at a fever pitch. Everyone I know is hiring. We actually did not "thin the herd" this winter, there wasn't enough "herd" to require it. Our manufacturing branches (wood shop, fab shop and extrusion plant) are working 24/7 right now and guys that want to are working up to 30 hours overtime a week. Something, somewhere has to give, we KNOW there will be an adjustment and given the 2 years we have had, it's probably going to be a big one.

    I have to choose a favorite??? I'd say that with your kitty to human ratio being the highest in all of Whatever TW, you may qualify as my favorite :D:thumbsup:
    :crapstorm:

    But I am also a dog lover so anyone with fur babies who will both cuddle and listen to a stranger (which we won't be for long) then they may outrank our kitty contenders of the group :anonymous:

    That eliminates my boy Apollo. He will cuddle all day, play, etc. However, being a Husky, he has no idea how to follow a command.

    It's more or less that if I steal borrow them that I'd like to make sure they're returned in one piece. Having them listen sorta helps with that :D

    :eek::yes:

    I'm not sure what I'm giving away though. I'll cook whatever but the boys get to do the dishes :thumbsup:

    ok folks, i had choices to make, original plan was 4-6 hours cooking wings, starting at 7 tomorrow am, 16 degrees 11mph winds, 6-7 feel like..had to cook-cool-cover , before the cold-n-wet starts tomorrow around 1pm, or cook today 22 degrees 8 mph winds, feels like 17, no rush to cool off, got all night, so, my decision was.....

    KIMG0514.jpg

    KIMG0515.jpg

    so, i think i made the correct choice, and i know, that there a few of "Whatevers" within a 2 hour drive time??

    I made a box of brownies that expired in Nov 2020 last night. Amazing thing is they came out great and were really tasty. My brother and I sometimes see if items past their date are still good. I figure if something comes out smelling bad or tasting bad, just throw it away.

    Slight deduction for over slobberfication but I'll take the whole lot! (Just not in my truck :anonymous:)
    :101010::drool:

    :101010:
    I've used boxed mix way past those dates and fwiw that cake is just a box mix doctored way up and the cherry rolls are actually a donut mix I use that's meant for frying but I just rolled it out and dumped a can of pie filling in it :notsure:

    I'm not great at the whole planning ahead and measuring stuff lol

    Everyone else can fight for second favorite runner up :notsure:
    I don't know how this is supposed to work:annoyed:
