Alpine iLX-W650 Upgrade & Seat Covers

Bought this Alpine at Best Buy and took almost 4 weeks before they had an appointment to install, but once they had it to took about an hour and fifteen minutes to put it in. Works great and looks good for an affordable price. The stock stereo was gone and I’m assuming the speakers were upgraded at some point because it sounds really good and the volume plays loudly without distortion. I use Apple Car Play to utilize all kinds of music apps. The phone and Nav interface is nice too. At some point I’ll put a backup camera in just for fun.

Love real sheepskin seat covers and after receiving a gift card to our local place I splurged and got these charcoal colored ones. Feel luxurious and looks good too.

 

If you like it, that's all that matters.

Next time knock it out yourself!

Takes all of 5 minutes to take apart the center console, etc.

 

Like the seat covers, my seats are starting to come apart at the edge.

Good to know, but I don't know if I could wait 4 weeks. Haha. I did it myself in 20 minutes. Most of that time was me cleaning/vacuuming the stuff that fell out of the center console.
