If all of that happens, even we would have trouble with it. Hope at a minimum you don't get the ice!

Our storm that was supposed to be bad enough to cancel school and work?

I drove downtown for a kid's appointment that wasn't canceled then because I was close I drove to work to grab my water bottle so it's not sitting there growing who knows what for 4 days but I forgot my keys.

And I went to Mill's Fleet Farm for a part for my snow blower, then Walmart.

We ended up with a staggering 4" of super powdery snow and not really much wind to speak of. We really shouldn't have had the day off.

My son has 2000 S10 4x4 Blazer we bought him after he finished High-school. I've replaced those hinge pins bushings on both front doors but they need replaced again. So this morning, and I believe due to the door sagging, the little latch inside door got closed when the door was opened. It's very apparent that it had been slammed numerous times in this condition
I show him how to fix it , but I had to get small sledge and steel bar stock, give that part on the door jamb a little massage before it would even close!

I'm the worst at planning ahead for things like getting frozen meat thawed in time.

Oh, he's always been so sensitive and played that up since he was very little. I just try to show him and move on. It's so very discouraging sometimes. He doesn't even take well to constructive criticism.
I love him of course because he is my boy. It's just tough. He needs to grow up in a big way are my feelings about it. He has no clue as to how tough life can be. Comforted by mother and supported by dads paycheck with practically everything he ask for.

What's the difference from putting it in hatch area?

Or are you talking about the can not being grounded/bonded?

Yes. Set it on the ground first off, then at least carry it in hatch area, less opportunity to spill off the seat and filling it up as well.
I mean those were couple of my thoughts. I've carried fuel in the trunk of my car from the station a couple of times but prefer the back of the truck. My wife's truck that's open. I don't want fumes under my camper shell.
