A little bland actually. More like a porter and darker than I expected. But I like all Double Nickle brews so I drank them all. ;)

Haven't a sour by Blaze Brewing that isn't really enjoyable. Glad this one wasn't overly sweet like many beers with marshmallows can be.

Anybody else doing dry January? It has me questioning my life choices. It's not terribly hard but it makes me really appreciate the taste of beer.

Dead serious I’m tired of being sober being the cool new fad thing. The NA beers make me rage.

Not ripping on you @melikeymy beer. Just ranting on the topic :)

No worries here. This two weeks is probably the longest I've gone without a drink of some kind in the last 30 years at least. I kind of wondered how much I would miss it.

My usual routine is to abstain Mon-Thu to detox the liver. I wondered when I retired five years ago if I would start drinking every day but nothing has really changed.

I have never tried a non alcoholic beer because I never saw the point I guess.

Cognac barrel aged coffee porter. It's got actual coffee in it, not just coffee flavor. Not bad. I also have a bottle of Bourbon Barrel (as opposed to cognac barrel) Aged French Press. Since it's a porter, it's not quite as strongly flavored as their Pumpkinator Imperial Pumpkin Stout, but it's still good.

As I was scrolling through the posts here, I found myself thinking about how 20ish year ago, all of these beers were unheard of. Sam Adams was just being discovered as the "more sophisticated" domestic alternative to big companies like Coors, Budweiser, etc. It's great how the demand for something different has made possible all of these well supported local breweries and the experimentation and variety that has made possible.

Back in UK for the job… swung over to my favorite local brewery and grabbed a few different ones they had in the can. They also do fresh poured to go liters, but they need to be consumed right away. A nice hazy pale made with Azacca and Sabro hops. Sorry, you don’t get to see it… I brought my stainless pint (because hotel glasses suck at half a beer size).
Good reading material for off days as well

Huge fan of their sours. I’ll be in the Portland area next weekend so hopefully I can snag some
