Northeast Kingdom (in VT). I'm way up by Newport/Derby, the Northeast corner of the state.

I will move this conversation to a 3 way pm so we don't "busy up" the thread.

You’re going to drive 7 hours to meet truck folk? The people Chris Hansen meets don’t travel that far

@deanosaurus is going to be canavaning with us down to Philly yes, but even though we are driving down that far for a "authentic" Philly cheesesteak, and to see some great guys whom I have spoken to for years over the web but have never seen their rigs or met them in person, we are also making a night of it. Staying over, maybe do some wheeling, some axe throwing, and visit some good restaurants. You're just jealous that you can't come. Personally, This wouldn't be the longest drive I went for a meet, or for a really good meal.....and it won't be the last.

What's the point of having a cool truck fitted out for serious travel if you only ever take it to the grocery store and the car wash?

I don’t question why people that are as active as you would make the trip, I’m sure you have interacted with several of the people that will show up. And the reason that I’m tagged in this thread and commenting is that this is local to me now, so fortunately you will be unfortunate enough to get to meet me.

I generally use mine to drive away from people, not towards them. But I should probably use it to go to the car wash more often, I’m not used to that road salt life.

I guess the "San Diego" next to your name threw me off.....but it will be sweet to meet everyone.....even you. Just looking at your truck I was thinking to myself:

I don't see that in Philly yet. Is that forecast for VA?

That would be awesome! It’s actually one of those Bakflip covers that folds down so would easily fit in a pickup bed
