Got home about an ago. The boys were still helping my brother unload. I have work in the morning had to call it early tonight. Seeing the house in person the property is nice. He has no neighbors to the left of the house and only 1 neighbor to the right. We walked the property line and out into the woods in the rear and side of the house. I see pitbike track in the near future.

It was also -2 this morning when I went out there to help him at 9am

Spent the last two days clearing out a bay in the garage, draining the gas in the quad, cleaning the carb, and mounting the plow. I hope it works as well tomorrow as is does now. 24 years old, I've had it for 16. Best $2500 I've spent.

98 Yamaha big bear. I had the add a new relay for the winch. I have to craft something to waterproof it. It's looks like a ten year old did it, but it works and was my first venture. Last time I got it all working we didn't get any of the snow.

Question for us Pennsylvanian Taco owners...

after 8 months, I really don't like the tube steps that came on my TRD Off-Road. They are just awkward enough to not be useful for me or anyone who gets in my truck.

I have seen a lot of shade thrown on the electric boards in various places, but I really am considering them. The Amp Research look the nicest in terms of tucked up and away when not in use and a nice, solid platform to step on when down.

Does anyone here have any hands-on (or feet on) experience with them? Would love any objective opinions from those who have dealt with them.

Thank you! Hope you're all bundled in for the night. But ass cold here and I hiked 2.5 miles when it was 16 degrees earlier. brr. Finally thawed though.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and welcome to the beginning of the next Wheel of Weather!!!

We're currently predicted for 4 to 6" of snow mixed with sleet/ice with temps hitting 37 on Monday. I hate the sleet/ice - gimme the snow instead anytime.

    Be safe out there!!

Morning pa peeps. 7° feels like 0. Heading off to work here shortly. For whatever reason my dog kept me up all night last night. He couldn't settle down. Hopefully it's a semi slow day today. I'm beat from helping my brother move all weekend and still need to get laundry done. Anywho hope everyone enjoys there Sunday. Let's go cowboys

Oh yes the big bear, well built machine , last a long time with little maintenance. Appears you will get to use the plow today and tomorrow!!

I have a 2004 Kodiak 450 that I bought new and it's a work horse for us here on our place. It stays in the garage at the house and both Lynn and I use it for everything from plowing, to pulling a trailer of mulch, dirt, rocks, tree limbs..... It has needed very little maintenance over the years. Still on its original tires.

I eventually got tired of plowing our 700+ foot driveway, as well as Lynn's mom's driveway while sitting out in the cold and bought a 2017 Cub Cadet Challenger 750 with a heated cab and power angle plow blade. That one stays down in the barn garage. Besides plowing, the dump bed is also great for hauling things and we use it a lot for our apiary work.

Don't have any longer term thoughts but got the AMP Power Steps for the wife for Christmas. I installed them but only have them hooked up to the front doors (didnt take the time to hook up to the rear doors) for making them come down when the door opens and didn't install the lights (going to use over lights). Since putting these on, you have to stand back a little if you are just putting something in the truck or the boards will hit you legs (doesn't hurt but something we noticed). With 3.5" of lift, these are nice for getting in & out.

Got mine all gassed up and ready, too. Added a set of drift cutters this morning, as well.

I’m not prepping the snowblower. We’re supposed to only get an inch or two at most and it will then change to rain. More of an aggravation than anything else.
