There’s more to it than that. A rusty pitted rack is only going to seal for so long. And that’s why I have a leak again. I’ve tried everything to keep the rust away and it just isn’t going to happen. Way too wet of an area.

Ah, ok. Well the tundy should fix both those issues due to size, but yeah I get the potential clearance issues with the 934s.

What do you mean about the pivots being useless though?

If you push the LCA forward your tie rod is going to make love to the coil over. @EatSleepTacos said his hits and he’s stock pivots with the 2.25 kit.

Tundra racks skip teeth too, they are not the end all solution, again just another bandaid

@906taco would full hydro be a better solution for you? Like Robertocrister did on his build.

@81Trekker I’m planning to have a core support made up off of the JD inners. Would it be wise to locate the inner fenders while I still had an oem core support in place for ease of locating it? Or just chop it all off?

Installing them with an oem core support makes me believe that it will save some headache lining up the fenders and hood. Once they’re tied to the cab, then chop the front portion off to beef it up.

I kinda have a peeve with hydro. We have it on our wrangler and it’s not something I would want to street drive. I really enjoy having that mechanical connection there.

As long as you take a bunch of measurements prior to cutting everything apart you will be fine

Well it sounds like you are hard enough on equipment to run a trophy truck rack or cut all the IFS out and put a Dana 60 in there like others who wheel beyond the limits of IFS.

I’m not beyond the limits of IFS lol. It’s just one issue with the current setup otherwise it’s bullet proof.

I think what I’m actually going to do is snag the front half of a frame from our local dealership when they do a swap. I’ll jig it up and figure out how to do a swing set setup. I’ll toss another new rack in to get me by until I have the swing set figured out.

Can the stock cvs handle the increased range of the 2.25 kit up until the upper binds? I know they must be run to get any decent travel if extended length are used prior to getting 8” shocks and that they are a extremely solid. Just wondering if the extra range of motion of the 934 is more geared towards the +4

934 is needed for 2.25 and 4 for full travel from my understanding.

Correct, at least with the 2.25 kit you need to strap it like 2” higher according to harry. I assume 4” is similar

I’ll be there. Apparently trying to meet up with a bunch of people as well as finding a jump good enough to jump over my buddy on his atc.
No. Not unless your ps pump is noisy enough to sound like a supercharger.

I wanna know that same thing actually…. I don’t feel like this thing is lacking in the power department. It makes reliable power that keeps partying all day long.
You just need a smaller pulley that’s all
