Let alone doing it again with other characters... Awesome!! I'll just create another hunter and transfer my armors and weapons. Rinse and repeat.. lol

 

They should replace Gambit with some type of survival mode with some type of zombie horde mode where you carry some orb for lighting and have to run through a horde of taken, fallen, etc in A DMZ or other planets..... without weapons.

 

Sounds about as fun as Gambit lol

 

Spent all night in Crucible. The spawn locations still need to be addressed in sixes. Can't tell you the number of times I spawned on the enemies side. Spawned once with two people behind me and a Nova Warp WL in his super right in front of me. Couldn't even finish the spawn animation. It's stupid right now. No way we should have lost some of these games. This is why I prefer 3's over 6's anyday.

 

But... When I say that PvP gives you the most XP for time invested this is what I mean. All I played today was PvP and went from 801 to 804

 

What the!! Damn the devil to hell! Lord Shack probably ran out of bounties for you.. it's like that song by Cake.. Going the distance.

 

I ran his bounties today and finished them in the first match. The rest is just XP that you gain. After the match is over you can see the large amount of XP move up the XP bar.

 

Finally got around to finishing up the bounties I posted earlier today that weren't PvP related. Went from 804 to 806 just by doing the bounties on one character. Took 30 mins to finish all the bounties. So taking PvP out of the equation... With three characters you can level 6 levels a day (not counting just running regular shit like patrols etc...) just by running the bounties like I described.

 

Damn! That was fast! I'll be lucky if I level this weekend!!

I do the exact same bounty routine as Britt, but I only run one character. I work from home now, so if I don't get on one day I try to at least grab the bounties before they reset, then complete 2 days worth before they expire. I recently realized that some destination bounties don't give you XP, so I skip those now, what's the freakin' point then?

Also, don't forget to go into your Triumphs and Seasonal Challenges and "accept" them. Many of them will give you XP, but not until you go in and clear the + thing.

 

What platform?

Cosmodrome for almost all the Gunsmith bounties. Planetary bounties for, well obviously, planetary bounties. Usually half the Strike bounties don't need to actually be completed in strikes. If there is a Splicer bounty that requires you to get 20 or so finishers? I usually skip it. Sure I "might" get it done but it would be by accident and isn't worth trying to make sure I don't kill something with a weapon. Besides... finishers don't work in PvP though I wish they did lol.

Triumphs and Seasonal Challenges give the most XP. More than anything you can do in game. Tough I'm unaware of any bounty that doesn't give your character XP. I know that Xur's bounties do not count towards Xur's rank up system (found that out the hard way). The only way to level up Xur is by playing Dares. Doesn't matter if you pick up the bounties or not. Turning them in does not move Xur's XP bar. Only completions of Dares. But still completing his bounties counted towards XP on my character.

Cool. Won't be a problem. We'll just have to use in game chat instead of party chat on PS. No biggie. I'll be on in a little bit running shit.

 

So I didn't play nearly as much today as usual. But Rich @TenBeers and I ran a few things he needed to finish and then we two manned the Dungeon.

Went from a 806 to 809 just by finishing bounties that I picked up and also completing the things he needed to do and also running the Dungeon. When I say that it isn't hard to level in the game this is what I mean. And I still have Strike bounties and Dares of Eternity bounties to finish which should put me at 810. So it's not nearly as hard as some make it out to be. Just have to pick the right bounties and you will get them done just by running activities. And that was just on my Titan. I never even logged into the WL or Hunter.

 

Little bit of a PSA. If you ever find yourself short of Enhancement Cores and you have a bunch of Finest Matterweave in your inventory (if not, you can buy it from Eververse for 200 Bright Dust) you can get Enhancement Cores in a very short amount of time with this method.

First, pop a Finest Matterweave



Once you do it will show up on your character screen like this



On the moon there are three (that I know of) locked chests that you have to shoot the symbols in the correct order to open it. You gain nothing by opening them as they will just drop a blue item. What you want to do is make sure you shoot the symbol out of sequence. If you do this a yellow bar knight will spawn and you can kill him and 90% of the time he will drop an Enhancement Core. Once he does, the chest will reset. Pop another Finest Matterweave and shoot the wrong symbol again. Rinse and repeat.

Just follow this. Took me about 10 mins to do this and you can see just how many Enhancement Cores drop.

Oh... and whatever you do. Go to Xur before he leaves tomorrow and pick up the God Rolled Timelines' Vertex Fusion Rifle he has for sale. It's a true god roll in the same league as the Main Ingredient he sold a few months ago. I was kicking myself for not picking that one up since I've been abused by it many times since. But now with this new God Roll? It will compete and IMO is actually better than the god rolled Main Ingredient. If you don't pick it up and you play PvP? You're going to be pissed you didn't. Got it on all three characters.

 

Holy sh!t, Batman!! That's the best cheese/ not cheese to farm enhancement core!! I was just Gonna ask you about a better way getting Enhancement Cores or prisms. Unless you do GM nightfall!!
