Guilty, I listen to am 1030 for traffic so I know who's gonna be late. And it's my early warning of if I'll fit in City garages. Lifted City life problems.

Edit: Never trust the height they tell you. Sometimes they add shit and don't change the signs. Like sprinkler pipes.

There is a little display above the handle that says washing, cleaning , and drying. In that order.
When I finished checking for leaks when I turned water supply on I was gonna do a quick wash of a couple coffee mugs and random things and thought it pointless. Waste of water. Stuff like daily travel mugs and lunch containers we would wash right away because what’s the point of using dishwasher, right? There’s only two of us. Can’t be that much. As far as dinnerware ,,cooking bowls, and whatever we’ll fill it up.

As far as the pre rinse my wife might get a little out of control with that too. That’s yet to be determined.

My next dishwasher will be turn dial. I don't care. I have told an appliance to go f itself way too many times. I'm 28 and too old for this shit. My dishwasher doesn't need push buttons.

    I HEART RADIO :notsure:

Same but I have the newer one with apple carplay and have mine with the wireless adapter. Spotify but same shenanigans.

I just hate how many commercials there are now, and how few options there are for those commercials.

The providence mall garage is juuuuuust there for me. Once I do a roof rack it might be too much.

I use "slacker" radio which is now owned by LiveXLive. I pay $2.00 a month and I get unlimited "skips", I can also go back to the previous song, and the stations, IMO, are some of the most accurate ones in with regards to genre, songs, and artists.

I have Amazon music (have stock in the brand so I'm a sucker) covers me and the family plus I gave it to a few friends. In return I also get Spotify from one of them.
I just can't stand commercials if I'm streaming.

Only if I'm out and the football game is on. I occasionally listen to talk radio at night but that's rare.

I spent a few weeks listening to radio or Youtube on my phone last year when I had the POS Chevy Malibu rental, no CD player in that shitter

I do too - the girlfriend has her own account because I'd lose Hulu if I were to change us to a family account. I'm not actually sure if we even use Hulu for anything, but I know as soon as I did that there would be something on there that I couldn't watch anymore.

I started assembling the snowblower attachment today and quickly discovered I must be missing a hardware bag or something - there were two with it, but I think there should have been a third. Looking at the parts list, there are definitely some nuts, bolts, washers, plastic bushings, and clips that I'm missing.

I called the dealer hoping they'd know the part numbers for the bag kits that should have been included and they could get me the missing one. Unfortunately, they don't have that level of detail either. So, I have to go through and figure out the missing part numbers to email to them, then they said they'd ship me those parts no problem.

It's kind of tough to tell exactly what I'm missing because the parts list descriptions are pretty vague. I think I'm going to just try to get it assembled and mounted and keep notes of what I'm missing along the way. Most of it's little stuff that I should be able to substitute something I have laying around for now. But, I just got over being pretty sick so I probably shouldn't spend that much time in a cold garage on the first day I'm feeling good again. I might try to get a friend to come up tomorrow to help out since he tends to be pretty good at these things.

    :spy:

    I have....

Spotify - Main use, used only for music. Downloadable. Works good. I like the curated playlists.
Youtube Music - Side effect from Youtube premium, no ads on youtube, has been worth it.
Amazon music - Side effect from Prime, don't have Amazon Plus, so it is missing some songs (and some bigger songs too it's not like they "hide" only the more obscure stuff)

No pandora, at least not a paid version. I like to have the shuffle but also be able to select what I want to listen to. Not sure if Pandora is able to do that now but in the past they were only basically a playlist on shuffle.

I want to look at ditching spotify and use youtube or amazon instead since it might pare down the costs. But TBD. At least on my old android phones that took an SD card, I did like how I could tell spotofy to download to the SD card.

We have hulu from my sister in law or something like that. But, we don't use it much. I didn't know there was a spotify combination. I'll have to take a look at that.

It was from some limited time promo the same way they'll do 3 months for free every so often, I just happened to catch it in 2019 and already had Spotify for my needs so I figured why not

Yeah, I did it a while back and think I'm grandfathered into it. When I researched it to see if I'd give it up if we got a family Spotify account, they said it's no longer offered. As long as I keep my plan the same I'll have it, but if I make any change I lose it.

Success! I only have about 2" of snow on the ground, but it was enough to try it out.

The hardware I was missing was all related to the chute controls and I had enough nuts/bolts/washers laying around to make it work. I sent the part numbers of the right ones off to the dealer and they're going to ship them to me.

I am glad I didn't wait until today. It's -9 right now and there's no way I'd be able to get the garage to a comfortable temperature.

Anyone ever drive the Cape Cod National Seashore? Looks kind of cool, would love to camp on the beach but of course...Massachusetts....

edit: Lol just saw it costs $50 for a 7 day pass or $150 for the season. To drive a bit of beach? Insane. It's public land, the Forest Service does not charge you to drive through National Forest land, NPS is awful

It's pretty sweet. Haven't done it in the summer it might get more crowded then. It's more so to drive up and park up on the sand for the day and have a little base station type of thing instead of parking on the parking lot and lugging all your crap.

Plus parking can be 50$ for a weekend of beach parking anyway so :notsure:

It's mostly just a beach day not necessarily a wheeling trip. Camping requires self contained or whatever it's called - gray water storage. Can't rent it, have to have a toilet with storage.

I’ve done it twice. One year I got a 7 day, the next I got a full year thinking I’d use it more than I did. For me at least (who has in-laws with a beach house) it’s a novelty. It was fun to go drive around and explore, but once you get past that it’s more a case of easier beach parking.

Just make sure if you have well meaning, but mechanically illiterate friends that you recheck your manual hubs. Otherwise you’ll put your back bumper on the stand at 10:30 at night and scare your significant other(s). My friend didn’t spin the hub all the way on my old truck and I was in 2WD on sugar sand. Despite being down to 9 PSI on my tires I sunk. I put it in 4L and sunk more. A nice couple yanked me out and when I started to sink again I stopped and did an assessment and saw my front hub wasn’t locked. Locked the hub and it was like I was on dry pavement for the rest of the night.

The only beach that was open when I was down there was Race Point which was a 45 minute drive from our hotel in Yarmouth, so unless you want to make a full day of it (beach and lunch/dinner in P-town) it’s a bit of a waste for more than a weekend.
