What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Heated seat install. Honestly feel like the hardest part is finding a way to contain the pile of wires and relays up under the dash

 

With all due respect, you can see exactly what's going on. Fork mounts and 2x4. Google fork mounts and there you have it

 

LOL! Just did mine Friday. Got all the wires run but still need to hang the loom and relays up high under the dash and connect power.

ECT is now on the shift knob and I shitcanned the Qi charger bullshit that was a POS. New panel coming and I'll be eliminating the USB spot and running that up to the top of the dash where the Ram Mount Rack is so no more exposed wires. I'll have 2 empty spots for a couple new add-ons once the panel is in.

 

Thats funny as hell. I was thinking the same thing.

How hard were they to get into the seats?

For me it's easy since I have seat covers. I place them on top of the OEM fabric rather than burying them under all the layers. I will likely do Katskinz within the year so at that point, I'll put them under the new skin.

Added heat shielding to the exhaust reroute I had done recently. All ready for my RCI skids to come in!!

 

I'd go for it if I had seat covers but don't think I want to tackle installing them in the uncovered seats. Be my luck the fabric is glued to the foam.

 

Installed bed rack and an RTT. Thank god for helpful neighbours.

6.5 hours to assemble and install, what a pain in the ass but so worth it!

 

Now tell me you weren't shittin' your pants as that assembly got taller and taller! Have you actually driven it of that garage? Shit, that's tight!!!

 

Looks good Serge. Strata living sucks but not many affordable choices these days. Not much clearance in the underground parking lot once that RTT is on. Good neighbors helping while no Karen's bitching to strata is good. Enjoy your new lift, tent and ability to extend your range and days out exploring. Just need a nice location, camp fire, cold beer and little AIC in the background.

 

Bought a hood and hood scoop kit. Installed it at home, and waiting for a shop to paint it super white. Also replaced the grill with a TRD PRO grill.

Amazingly clean under there for a ‘16. Do you just use engine degreaser? Really need to clean mine; after Hollister Hills tomorrow

 

I saw this truck a few months ago on TW and interested to know what set up they have. Is that factory lift or maybe leveling kit? Or possibly more? If anyone can provide info on this picture I would greatly appreciate it. It looks amazing and that’s what I really want my truck to look like.
