Yeah I don’t get it. Everyone around here is hiring, no matter what field it is.

 

Which leads to a parts supply issue, that leads to other parts supply issues. It's getting crazy. We've been having to do some creative stuff, especially when we can't get certain higher risk failure motor/gearboxes that are pretty integral to our sorting system.

 

Here too.. and yet people don't actually want to work. They seem to want everything handed to them and will walk away from a job if someone looks at them. So incredibly frustrating to me.

 

They can find jobs.
They want 6 weeks vacation after one.
Top pay for novice experience.
And cry to HR when they get boo boo feelings

 

People want careers where they don`t really work and think they need a $100,000 to start.

The welding Fabrication skilled trades has been looking for help for years most places have given up .

As skilled employees retire it takes several new hires to replace them or so I heard over the holidays .

I wish I could still work.

I took the day off to work with F360 and learn about Mirroring. Holy cow! What a time saver!

I designed 1/4 of the leg mirrored and joined that so I had the top half, then mirrored the top half and joined those to give me a complete leg.

I like what I have now, so I'll form up and save the Gcode for when I get back to the plasma table.

My brother in law works in a distribution hub mostlikley the same one. His distribution is going towards robotics. I’ve seen them from fire side and are dam impressive
