2 bolts in that t-slot are kinda meh.. but for a 33".. with mild wheeling and use.. perfect.

 

Air the tire down, install, air the tire up just enough to put a little tension on it and that thing aint goin anywhere. Add 2 more t slot bolts and itll be fine.

I do agree. Those bed slots weren’t meant for heavy duty use IMO. I love using bed bolts instead, with steel tie downs

 

They seem to hold Go Fast Campers just fine with serious abuse

Multiple attachment points and sitting on the top of those rails where there isn't as much lateral force or leverage isn't the same imo. I had to temporarily run my 35 vertically in my bed, up against the cab, strapped to those same t slots, to get our camper. I could see the flex in the front of the bed from the weight of the tire pulling on it. I just personally don't think it's ideal for anything that will see some use.

Just upgraded to KB voodoo bed rail caps and tailgate cap. Have the stock plastic bed and tailgate caps off a 2014. Most of the clips are still intact, maybe 4-ish broken total between all 3 pieces. yes...yes I do. You can keep kids toys and ice chest with juice boxes.

 

I still like to play with toys and drink juice boxes. They're convenient and tasty.
