Just think of the insurance increase once those systems are fully integrated in Canada.

Yes we are becoming the last few bastions of unsupervised freedom.

Remember in the movie the 5th Element, where Bruce Willis was getting demerit points and fines by the computer as he was driving...

People will love the facial recognition instead of a key to start their vehicle,
until it gets used like above for the auto speed traps and red light cameras.
Then they won't need those systems soon enough as the car will do it for you.

And the sad truth is the majority will think this is all a great thing... The road to hell is paved with good intentions...

    Lol speedboats..

    LPT:
If you are every behind a speedboat that has twin supercharged engines full of adrenaline crazies....
Make sure that you know what ALL the proper hand signals are....
Because the thumbs up signal that I though was "All Good" actually means go faster... (well that's what THEY told me)
And when you are on a Tube at the end of a 100' rope, and that tube is barely even touching the water...
And your full of that young male macho out crazy your friends mode...
Only when you hit the wakes from them slaloming you around, you become amazed that you can hold on at that speed, while flying over 10' in the air...
At this point no way could I lift a hand from the tube handles to attempt any signal....
When they decide to do a sharp turn to put me in a whip manuver after dropping the throttle and accelerating again in 3 little blips...
Those blips made some really big waves, and the whip manuver had me going so fast, I could feel my eye lids flappin about even more than before...
First wave they said I was about 20' up, and the tube started spinning in the air...
Hit the second wave with the tube under me but at an angle that I was face first and went like a torpedo through the wave....
Lol they said I came out with only one hand still desperately holding onto the tube and started spinning about again with me stretched out prone from the tube...
Then hit the third wave right at the apex of the whip, bloody tube handle ripped open the tube, made a big bang, and I went flying.
They said I was skipping and cartwheeling on top of the water for at least a 100' then about another 50' of big splash wave...
Lol I was glad I was wearing a life preserver because I didn't know my ass from a hole in the ground for a few minutes...
When I first got my head out of the water I thought I'd been hit by a boat!
I must have drunk a lot of water, when I went through those crests of waves, screaming my head off...
Because I puked up a gallon of water as soon as I got in the boat.
Much to the laughter of my friends...
I asked "how fast was I going?"
"Oh we stopped looking when we hit 60mph because at that speed it could be dangerous...
    wouldn't want that!
we're not to sure, but when we put you in the whip,
if it was a sonic boom from you hitting mach one, or just the tube exploding....
but holy shit you were going fast, thought we killed ya, until you popped back up outta the water swearing at us.."
And then all the laughing details of my ballistic gymnastic slow I put on while they are wheezing on the poopdeck.
Lol no mercy or sympathy in that group!

So when my wife saw my laughing my ass off to the point of tears in the Dukes of Hazzard movie,
in the "No Bo" riding the stolen safe scene, that is what I was thinking of.
When he said "Sorry Cuz' I know you'd do it to me" I could not breath.. LOL

Well I guess, fortunately, (tongue in cheek) that was not my first time dealing with spinning through the air at a stupid high rate of speed and reflex probably saved me a trip to the hospital.

Well that sounds better than my entire thought process when the tube went bang and I went flying...
    WTF
    Holy Shit
Crash Position (and curled into a fetal position to kiss my ass goodbye)

    Looking back i probably/definitely had a concussion,
but like any youth overloaded on adrenaline and laughter,
We treated it with beer and Vodka and continued on with the adventure.
