I'm going to assume you meant 4 to 6" :). They're predicting differing totals as the day goes by here in Berks, however the form of ice/crap is pretty consistent. We're up on a hill and so winter rain often either comes down as ice or freezes to the trees and makes a mess of things. Maybe I should fill up the gas cans.

I hope that turns out to be the case! :fingerscrossed:

Good observation about them hitting your legs if you're just putting something inside the truck.

I don't have any lift (yet) on mine either. I'm 6'1" and able to get in without them...have some passengers that isn't the case for lol Plus I do like how they seem to tuck away nicely when not in use. Appreciate the feedback greatly!

Moraine State park? There is a place in Ellwood City, their town park, that has a trail down to the Connoquenessing and it looks very similar to your pictures.

Does that start in Ewing Park? I have to check it out!

Mine are out at McConnell's Mill. I'm most frequently wandering the miles of trails there.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I need to do more research . The price being twice what I paid for the Truck it looks to expensive for my taste.

I do not know anyone with these installed on any vehicle.

Like any other electrical / mechanical device is it protected well from the liquid brine which finds it`s way in every where?

Truck is parked during winter weather conditions ??

Will you be doing the install so you will know where all the areas a failure is likely to occur ?

If the step does not work in either direction will it be a major problem?

Doing your research look to where the vehicles live.

With the warranty is chemical damage a user error.

Good luck no matter your decision.

I just want to give a quick thank you to @Arcticelf for helping me get my lift installed on my new truck today. I froze my ass off but it was well worth it because I got to meet an awesome person, learn a bit about my truck, and get the transformation started on my truck. Thanks again!

Yes. In the back of the park, where the pavilions are, there is a trail that is rather visible, right off the parking area. It's about a mile long, maybe.

Now we are starting to get snow; I don't think I'm going to need the snowblower tomorrow, but I pulled it out and fired it up to make sure it started right up...

Heh, my snowblower has electric start, but honestly it's more trouble than what it's worth. With the new China carb (last year) even sitting for 8+ months it fired up with one pull today.

I do typically run ethanol free in it, but my dumbass put my remaining 3 gallons in the beater a couple weeks ago before the weather turned. That jinxed it. Only thing in town is 10%. I always drain the tank and carb at the end of the season so it shouldn't matter.

I just run 93 in mine, preferably from BJ's since that's the cheapest in the area; I've given up on finding gas that doesn't have at least 10% ethanol in it.

I usually pick up 91 ethanol free for my mowers, trimmers, and snow blower. However I wasn't feeling a trip over the mountain just for 2 gallons. Had gas points at Giant so I just threw a couple gallons in the can and the rest in my truck. Didn't even bother treating it. It'll get drained and thrown in the truck in a couple months anyways.
