    snow was not great, icy in the am, got a little soft and crunchy in the afternoon once the sun hit it....it was like 40 on the mountin though. spring skiing in january......now the high in denver is 1

    hey guys im driving out to moab in may and i was going through say denver......
    from there i wana hit like forest service roads or trails as you will and make it a 3 day drive to moab from there.....
    looking for camping spots...non fee.....
    any tips advise things to see ..ect

    There a numerous trails from Denver over the mountains using I-70
