What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

This is my first post in this thread so needless to say.... since it's purchase 2, almost 3, months ago, I've done a few things...

I have a TRD OR MGM DC. I've added a Prinsu roof rack, 40 inch light bar, ditch lights, Method 701s, K02s, a chrome delete to the exterior, and a few other goodies...

 

Mounted up the RSG rock sliders. Went pretty easy, despite doing them solo. Took my time, enjoyed a couple adult beverages and used a jack amd stands to steady them while I bolted them up.
I also removed the Softopper logos, they were just too bright white for my taste.

 

Many/most small bubbles will dissappear after a week or 2 and with some heat/truck sitting in the sun.

 

Day two of Project New Suspension, the front. Out with the old, in with the new.
Going to need to adjust the preload, didn’t get hardly any lift. Thought I would get some from going to stiffer springs and making up for the weight I’ve added, but nothing notable. Noticeable difference in droop though, had to Jack it up higher to get the wheels back on from where I took them off.

 

Took the tent off for the first time in two years. Feels so weird going topless lol

 

Not yet. I’m working with my local dealer to get my order for the entire kit in, already placed a down payment now just waiting for a confirmation. These aren’t available until later this year (optimistically) and the only pictures of it available are total trash unfortunately. But the renderings on the website are badass. Once the order gets confirmed I’ll start a thread for it, it’ll probably be the only one in CA but we’ll see

 

How do you like these shocks? Are they serviceable/have parts readily available? I was considering other brands but because of parts availability and ease in finding service shops I just chose FOX.

I have the Elka 2.5 700lb DSC that was installed by Tru Automotive in denver over a year ago any the used a lot of preload, basically all of the threads, and I don’t have anything heavy up front. Bought a trailer hitch and 2inch cap for my SR (install on a warm day or the spring)

it’s so much fun adding accessories to my truck…. I can’t stop.

 

Picked up a new project. 1967 Sunbeam Imp and going to put a BMW K1200RS motor in it.

 

Bought a used 2018 TRD Pro from vroom. I highly recommend avoiding this company. It took 3 weeks for them to finally deliver my truck. The whole experience was a nightmare! However I am loving my new truck! Threw on some rockblockz to help keep that cavalry blue beautiful!
