I can get to work in SketchUp if you give me the dimensions you want.

I actually just designed a rack in SketchUp last week I want to weld up this Spring. Squat height (for me), bench height (for me), and a loading/deadlift height bracket all in one, with a pull up bar of course. Not that I can do pull ups like when I was young and not broken though haha I might as well leave that part off…

I kept forgetting these bed stiffeners at home that I made for a member some weeks back.

Brought them to work cause you know, free powder coating.

    Love how they came out.

Yes indeed pull ups with the extra 100 pounds hanging from a harness.

This getting old is not fun.

I remember doing 20+ for the PFT back in my Marine Corps days haha. I’d be hard pressed to pull out 2 clean ones these days.. still lift, but need to work pull ups back in for sure!

That's @Wishbone Runner 's rig. Think he has more details in his build. I also made a similar core support on my 1st gen as well. You could build the whole thing with a 120v MIG welder and an angle grinder. Cost is not the problem, it's time. I don't recommend it for an early fab project, probably best to have a few smaller projects under your belt first. It's a huge PITA to get everything remounted in the right location, and don't even bother if you care about any body lines ever lining up again.

That being said, if you're patient, OK with your truck being down for a while, and learning as you go, there's nothing prohibitively difficult about it. Just one of the more tedious projects I've done.

Yep, more of a tedious project than a welding project. Havent had any issues with the support since doing this 4? years ago.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
Yeah I started looking at dimensions and realized I’m really close to having all the info I need to build it just by looking at eleiko’s website

just need to go look at material and then decide what I want given the suggestions given earlier

For what it is worth I have found over the years the time spent to adapt prints on something personal like this till you get done you my as well just draw up your own and be done.

Bumpers and Rock sliders not as bad just adjust as needed.

    good luck

I finally got around to trying out the titanium 125 I got for christmas. I’m slightly less terrified of it than I was a couple hours ago haha

I have a dumb question though: can I leave the wire fed through it or do I need to remove it each time?

Second question: recommendations for a cost effective fold up welding table? I had a piece of ply on sawhorses today and definitely caught it on fire a couple times.

You can pave the wire in. The HF folding welding table is fairly inexpensive but there was talk a few pages back about one from tractor supply I think. Don’t recall the model exactly. If you can scrounge around for some scrap steel all you really need is a metal base to use as a welding table at least 3/16” thick. That’ll be more resistant to warping as you weld.

Y’all are quick haha I’ve seen that HF table before. My stores out of stock on it so I guess i’ll have to be patient.

    Thanks!

Like others said, the HF table is good.

Some other tips that helped me:

I almost exclusively use this wire in that machine, the wire it comes with is kinda trash: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F429SZM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. I will also use the Vulcan wire from HF, but the blue demon stuff seems to work better for me. In both those wires, you'll find significantly less spatter than the little wire roll that the 125 comes with

The Lincoln electric tips from home Depot also fit this machine if you want to have some backups of those
