I had 3 sets of them. Never let me down once. Great tires. I did have a tough time looking for them last year so I went with Toyos this time. No issues yet.

I went from coopers, to dynapros, to wildpeaks back to ko2. Closest tire I’ve ever had that wears remotely close to a ko2 and handles as well is the duratracs but they are much louder. Guys can hate all they want but ko2s are a great tire.

    Stock and staying that way
For some tires they are the distributor, that other companies order from. And there are tires that Tire rack is the distributor for.

Yea, these Toyo Open Country’s are a little louder than the K02’s but I’m not too concerned about it. I just turn up the radio! Lol. The test will be in a couple of weeks with an off-road trip in the Sierras. Can’t wait!

I ran BFGs ATs for 30 years on all my 4wd vehicles and they were great tires. They are hard as hell to keep balanced, always had issues and they suck ass in the rain. Plain and simple again they suck ass in the rain, great on the beach, okay in the little snow storms we had but suck in the rain, cool tire, wears great but did I say they suck in the rain. I too made the switch and run Toyo at2 on my older 4Runners and older Tacomas. My 2018 has a set and my son replaced a set of at2s with the new at3s and that new one is a great tires. Toyos are light, balance super easy, great warranty and are not expensive. My Son paid $640 for a set of AT3s in 265/70/17s out the door and I don't need them but for that price I'm going to get a set. The AT3s are even better than the AT2s. Super quiet tire. Mine have 20k miles and been on the truck since I had 3k miles and have been great!

That's not true. I got 285s from discount tire direct last year. They didn't even ask what vehicle it was for

I bought a set of tires from America's "Discount about a month ago. For the first time when entering your trucks information you can enter your lift information. They actually listed 285 17S as an option on my truck. Just FYI, I had never seen that option on their online site before.

Cool but that's a different company and definitely isn't an OEM size for any Tacoma

Yeah, that is what I was trying to say. They use to only let you choose OEM or a + or - 1 size or so. I believe Discount and America's are the same company to my knowledge. I know my Discount Tire card is accepted at America's Tire. Some times I buy tires in Arizona at Discount and sometimes I buy tires in California at America's.

Try checking out now. They must have changed it. Won't let you complete a purchase without a "correct" size tire. It's definitely true:

You can add them to cart and do everything else, but you can't checkout.

Even adding rims won't let you checkout. Changing to a 16" won't either.

lol. It just doesn't make sense. Call them up and they don't even ask questions. Plus, their TPMS didn't work in my '22. They did refund me though.

That's what I did. Never input a vehicle and just shopped by desired size

You cannot check out without entering a vehicle! lol.

Everyone feel free to try it yourself. It won't work. I even asked them on the phone and they just said "yea, it's stupid".

Hence the first pic where it says "enter valid vehicle".

Les Schwab has the same thing. It won't let you check out online, you have to schedule an appointment.

They are doing this because too many people order the wrong shit, complain, get refunds etc etc...
