Booo, domestic. A friend of mine has a 2017 or 2018 Silverado and was giving me a hard time when I was shopping about how “I would never ever buy a current tundra.” He has a tacoma so he knows Toyota. Anyways, a month later he’s a few hours from home and his transmission gives him serious issues. Has to limp it home to a dealer and they had to replace the torque converter and some other stuff. I’ll take my reliable dinosaur over that, thankyouverymuch.

 

He probably didnt add the correct amount of coors light to the transmission fluid at the last exchange.

 

I need one so bad!! You wouldn't believe how cramped my back seat is with three boys in car seats right now. But, we're broke and they are priced like they are literally made of gold right now...

I have the opposite of room in my crosstrek. Should have gone full outback.

 

I have my in laws outback right now, it’s still not exactly roomy. Get in on that ascent goodness.

You should see what carvana will offer you, only takes a few min to get a quote on their site. That’s what I did with the Highlander and what prompted me to buy the tundra.

 

Stop filling my head with wonders and dreams, Randall. Plus the ascent is basically a minivan. With turbo.

I will say though... the Abyssal Blue Pearl is as sexy as body paint gets.

 

No no no the ascent is an suv through and through, it’s pretty dope. Even a little bigger than the Highlander I had. But let’s be real here, a turbo’d minivan is a great idea.

 

But what would I use 3rd row seating for?

 

Leave that bad boy folded flat for a large cargo area for the dogs, duh.
