Bought a trailer hitch and 2inch cap for my SR (install on a warm day or the spring)

it’s so much fun adding accessories to my truck…. I can’t stop.

The whole experience was a nightmare! However I am loving my new truck! Threw on some rockblockz to help keep that cavalry blue beautiful!

Buddy of mine at work just took delivery of a Camry from Vroom last week. Three weeks late. When they delivered it, the antitheft ignition blocker was enabled and the car refused to start & refused recognize the keyfobs provided. Last I heard he had a very expensive paper weight parked at his curb and was three days into phone calls with them trying to even get the damn thing to start. Yikes.

We had almost a foot of snow when we got up this morning, so after a safety briefing....I decided to check out the snow performance of my new Cooper Tires by towing the girls in and out the driveway. It's about 1000ft long so I was getting up to almost 20mph... :D

    upload_2022-1-17_11-34-19.jpg

On the tire front the Cooper AT3 LT's did well. Even though it was just the driveway, our drive is an adventure in the snow and slush season and it always the most difficult part of going out in the snow. If we can make it out of the drive, it's easy going until we have to get back in the drive. With the AT3's I could stop and start again on the steep parts I know I'd just have spun on with the all season tires I just replaced.

Looks like the isobars we had in our area yesterday. Windy with gust over 50. Drawing looks great.

Primed / painted / cleared my calipers with high heat paint last week.

Also 86'd the sway bar.. It's still pictured here but it's gone and I won't be missing it at all. This suspension is more than capable of keeping up without it and any weight off the front end of these trucks is beneficial.

Installed Sokietech Hood Struts. Very easy to do and the hood opens 5.5" more.

I've been thinking about doing that too, but I think I'm leaning more toward the Spiker version since it leans the pistons the other direction. In my mind that makes it a bit easier to access close to the firewall from either side.
