Checking the mats resulted from floor mats that trapped the accelerator causing an accident that killed a family here in San Diego. The car was a loaner from a Lexus dealership. The driver fried the brakes trying to stop. I have driven on the road this happened on, a freeway ending in a T intersection as your coming down a hill. What a horrible feeling as you're doing 100+ mph down a hill to a dead end with your family in the car, knowing your all going to die.

I guess I still don’t understand. One is the drain PLUG while the other is the fill PLUG. Do you mean you are looking for the part number?

DUDE THANK YOU! I've been looking for something like this forever, kept searching for a battery powered one but this is great. I deal with a ton of gear lube and am so tired of the little hand pumper made for boats.

Awesome! Those hand bottle pumps are garbage. I went through 3 of them before getting this.

Yeah, the part number... cause during installation they stripped my drain plug. Someone else provided it in this thread.

    Appreciate the help!

Did my rear at 20k because I tow a camper. Very little metal on the magnet, but in my opinion it needed it. Waiting for warmer weather for front diff and transfer case. I use Amsoil Severe Gear in the diffs and Ravenol 75w for the transfer case.

Just wondering why not use the Amsoil in the transfer case. Please help? Thanks!

I would have shifted into neutral long before that happened, spiked the ebrake and let the motor blow.

You can definitely, and I did in my 2014 Tacoma. But I wanted to stay with the Toyota recommended 75w and Ravenol has great reviews. Plus the Ravenol comes in a 1liter(1.05quart) size bottle, so you don’t have to buy 2 quarts, and it has a pull out hose in the bottle for easy fill.

I used amsoil marine 7590 (in all 3) cause I have a bunch of it.. can't see it being much different than severe gear other than it is supposed to be more water resistant. :notsure:

I recently ordered the fluid change kit from Blauparts that has Ravenol. 1 qt of 75w for the TC and 6 qts of 75-95 to cover the diffs. Like most of my projects, the bottles now sit nice and tidy on a shelf in my garage. I swear they came with a self install option but that seems not to be working.

I’ve got a few things on the shelf waiting. The older I get the less willing I am braving the cold.

I remember that. Wasn’t that at the end of the 125 at Mission Gorge Rd? Brutal.
