Ordered mine 10/11. Was just notified that they are being prepared for shipping.

 

Eddy just said 12-14 week lead time. Possibly less.

 

I think its crazy that people still think things like this

 

I got their sliders and bumper on my last truck. I still have the sliders on this truck. I even bent a fire hydrant on them once and all they got was a scratch on the paint.

 

I agree. They make solid sliders.

 

Call me crazy then you don’t get less behind by adding more to do. That being said, I neurotically researched sliders and kept going back to SOS. I have no doubt about the quality. My complaint was about communication (or the lack thereof).

 

I don't think its all that crazy of a thought process. To be fair, I've never been a business owner, so I don't have much of a valued opinion, but I'd agree there's a fine balance of happy consumer and adding more sales. For a 1-2 man show, I think its kinda crazy that he competes with larger companies, and I'd have to imagine you don't want to bury yourself too deep in sales that you can't catch up to. On the flip side, I'd have to imagine holiday sales are where you secure your largest amount of sales to carry you through the slower months to come, who knows!

Related note, do you have to drill holes in your frame to install SOS's 3rd skid?

 

Unfortunately yes. There are four holes, but I only used two. Easier to fix if something goes bad.

Jan 14th 2022.” That last update was that it was ready to be shipped. Definitely getting ridiculous at this point and wish they would’ve honored my request for a refund when I asked on November 2nd (denied because it was ready to be shipped then, too…). This exceeds the expected lead time of 14-16 weeks. I don’t like being lied to. A good experience may result in a customer sharing that with 1-2 people; a bad, several.

 

Following up now.

 

Freight issues. Everything has been on a pallet.
“It's been on a pallet. Estse wouldn't take it.
Got a quote from YRC. They never showed up.
Trying to have his out tomorrow”

Relentless fabrication also made a post about this issue.
This has been a huge pain.
