    i had bike and sled in pan for 10 years without issue using original tailgate. guess this aftermarket one isnt half as strong. thankfully it sprang back most of the way.

    Until they started to rust likely.
    Fortunately mine came already black so I didn't have to both. But they used black oxide bolts which are already showing surface rust

    A week after new blinker install the passenger side got filled with water already. Hopefully some sealant fixes that.

    Only worked on the truck for a bit today. Got the transfer case shifter fit to the cup holder and got a boot/aluminum cover made for the shifter and tunnel. The.     Got these in their final spots and fully welded in now, just reassembly time. Gotta finishing wire wheeling the frame and painting. Then I can hang the fuel tank back in place and the exhaust too.

    I bought 8 black oxide bolts to plug the rivnuts I used to seal the holes in my roof (removed my roof rack awhile back).

    Within 24 hours they had turned orange. 24. hours. In southern CA during summer.

    Those things rust the minute they leave an indoor climate controlled setting
