To add insult to my snowless injury i got a flat tire at some point on the weekend but was discovered today.

BUT not all bad because i made the great discovery that the newer (‘16 ish era) rav4’s are certified rippers. once i figured out where the traction control button is
Would have no problem shaming the subaru boys in the mom mobile.

Rav's have always performed admirably. My 07 on dedicated snows is a nimble lil bitch that I'll take it out before teeco up to about 8 inches. Lots of fun to drive.

Anything over 8" then to the Tacoma...fortunately this is the effects of today

Crazy day today...Plows cleaning northbound left 3 or so feet of snow blocking all the off ramps. Somehow idiots with all season tires thought they could get through. I pulled 3 trying to get off to 401East and then 2 trying to get off at Finch. Couldn't get the winch to work for some reason and had to use the old tow strap. Fun times.

 

My favorite tree...copper beech. Also the crabapple on the boulevard (ya! A fvcking boulevard!)

Funny I always looked down on that generation of RAV4s because it's down 100 hp from the previous gen with the 2GR V6.

Honestly im just a fan of the awd and surprisingly nimble
Probably surprised a few people when they saw a purple rav in full ken block mode today lol

My mechanic dropped my truck off at work when he was done and i didnt have a chance to talk to him. I’m assuming he patched it, or i have a big bill waiting for me

My RAV4 is very capable in the snow….Safe and fun to drive!
