Hey everyone. Bit of an odd question here. Due to some hack in a BMW ripping my bumper off in a parking lot last summer, I had to replace my bumper, and ended up replacing the stock TRD OR chrome rear with a color matched TRD OR Tech Package rear end, and, while generally looking great, I now have holes in my bumper where the OEM rear sonar sensors should go. Has anyone used these for anything unique or creative? There's no way for me to add the rear sensing aftermarket, and I'd rather not have empty holes or useless sensors in there. Any suggestions are welcome.

maybe you can find rubber grommets and tuck them in.
Or maybe open two of them up and install some little spot lights.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
Can I ask why you didn't get the bumper caps without the rear sensors? They're readily available.

Put some spy cameras back there.
Hit up hardware store for grommets. A plastic furniture plug grommet would fit nice and flush.

After hunting around on Marketplace and Craigslist this bumper was the only one available near me in MGM. Couldn't seem to find anything available on here for shipping either.

I'll give the grommets a look. I was also considering some marker-style lights, similar to what the original Raptor had on the rear end.

Yeah, red round led parking lights is what i would use. Bonus if you make them combo tail, brake and then like a trailer. Doable.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
I would find (2) LEDs for the center holes and wire to the brake lights, then finxd (2) white LEDs for the outer holes and wire them to your back-up lights.
Shouldn't be all that complicated and there probably is a TW member who could make a plug'n'play harness for both.

I'd probably get matte black bumper caps, forget about the sensors, and call it a day.

Plug and Play? Now you're talking my style! Is there someone who's known to do those kind of kits? Augmented brake and reverse lights seem to be the best and most obvious choice, and do seem decently easy to do.

there was a thread not to long ago where someone mounted Rigid Ignite pods behind them and used them for aux reverse lights.

Brake and turn taps, Johnny or I can do easy. Don’t let that be a limiter.

reverse is easy too but seems pointless to me as it’s no additional output.

personally I’d do combo brake and turn off the 4 pin which is like $5 and see how you like it with someone else driving in front of you at night. Then we can get fancier to tap behind the bumper so it’s stealth.

One could get REALLY extreme and use multicolored LEDs. All (4) red for brakes and white for reverse. Then the outer (2) amber for turn signals. Of course this increases the complexity of the harness. Not sure if a red/white/amber LED can be found. To carry it a step further, one could include the license plate off during reverse to minimize the camera wash-out in reverse.
