The receiver is something I'm worried about, too. I like that the 4xinnovations has a rated hitch.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

I have seen the receiver tube in person and it's better then any stock receiver and I'm sure Tim will be welding it up better then anything on the market now for a 1st gen. I'm sure you would break something on your truck before this receiver breaks.

Lol. Yea I'm gonna have to go get a hitch with a lot bigger drop, because right now I have a 2" drop and it still isn't enough. So with this bumper I'm gonna need probably a 6" or maybe even a 8" if they make that big of a drop.

i was thinking the same thing my boat sits low so after I put on my leafs and the bumper I'm going to measure to see how far of a drop i need but i'm thinking it's going to be a lot.

and they do make BIG ones http://aluminumflatbedsforpickups.com/big_drop_trailer_hitches.html

Holy Hell. I always thought that the drop hitches like that were custom made, but I guess not lol. That much drop looks funny.

Is Tim doing the whole "one of the first 10 buyers gets one free" thing?

Edit: If he is, I'm pretty sure I'll buy one. I'm pretty strapped for cash, but I'll take the 10% chance lol.

Here is a shot of the receiver brackets on the back side of the bumper as you can see it's tied into the mounting plates of the bumper so I'm confident that I will be able to tow anything a Tacoma can safely pull.

i'm either going to throw a small led light bar on the top of mine or i saw some bolts that you can buy that have led's mounted in the head that will shine down on the license plate. not sure which i'll go with yet, i've just been driving around with out them all month

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

I'm thinking of getting this and mounting 2 of them one on each side of the plate http://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Automotive-CZ-224W-Super-License/dp/B00278V35Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1296835906&sr=1-1

I was also looking at the IS350 plate lights they look pretty sick I just don't know if they will fit on the sides.

Tim what are the measurements on the side of the plates? and is there anything behind the plate that would stop me from mounting lights on the sides kinda like the stock ones?
