    Hey!

I wanna lift the rear end of my truck a couple inches. Ideally I would go with the OME Dakar leafs but they raise it about 4-5 inches for a 95-97. What's the next best option that would leave me with the least downtime. AAL? Shackles?

Please only comment if you specifically know about 95-97 rear suspensions, they're different than 98-04

    Thanks!

Rancho Quick lift. Wheelers Off Road Progressive AAL with Rancho RS9000's, braided brake lines & clutch line. BFG 32x11.50 15 All Terrain Tires Deck Plate Mod. Flowmaster 60 series muffler and Marlin Crawler Short Throw Shifter.
I used the Wheelers progressive aal and got the 1.5 to 2 inches that I needed.

    4 run, 2 don't
You can pull out a leaf to help with the extra height the Dakar leaf pack offers.

Yes, they net a bit more height over stock than say...a 98-04 but not much higher.

Plus they're only stupidly high because a leaf pack takes much longer to settle so your initial height over stock will indeed be +4" before settling.

A leaf pack install shouldn't take more than just a few hours even if you did it yourself.

I had pretty good luck with them, my AAL had the the center pins that weren't threaded enough so they overnighted me a set that were.

Sorry to hear that you had bad luck with Wheelers. I did my springs and brake lines a few years back and had great customer service with them. There must have been a change since then and with times now a days who knows.
