Good morning everyone! It's supposed to be a whopping 35* today!
Still steaming a bit about my screwed up breakfast from Burger King this morning. Was running late so decided to treat myself to some sausage, egg, and cheese Croissan'wiches instead of my usual Cheerios. Got to work and opened up to find they forgot to put the darn eggs on them. Of course, they run on a skeleton crew so nobody answers the phone. If it weren't 8 miles away I'd have gone back to fix it. grrrrr....

 

I was anti cooked spinach most of my life. I could eat it raw in a salad but not cooked. But we have a Greek couple that run a restaurant nearby they do spinach cooked in olive oil with feta cheese I’m a convert it’s not just edible it’s damn good.

 

We like to occasionally wilt spinach into scrambled eggs with mushrooms and ham, and then finish with tomatoes and cheese. A little salt and pepper and it's like a scrambled quiche. Really freaking good.

We think alike. I made ribs in the oven last weekend and I got ideas from 3 different recipes. All from an old Betty Crocker and a church cook book.

The wife has started doing a pasta dish I believe it’s ziti spinach and marinara my first thought was NO!!! But actually I don’t miss the meat it’s really good and yes I can’t believe I’m admitting this myself. She is having a board meeting tonight I will go to the grocery store buy a 1lbs plus bone in ribeye cook it rare and try to forget I admitted that
