uhhh wut? The fact that I served and got my balls busted gives me the right to bust their balls… just like @MY50cal used to eat crayons and finger paint

edit: its a joke you wouldn’t understand it unless youve been there…

if you notice my profile says “sailing the high puddles” because other branches calls coasties puddle pirates… just as we call Navy guys squids. Sorry didn’t realize you were in a position to be offended.

Got some antibodies yesterday because I had covid pretty bad. They cured my shit in like 4 hours and I finally got some work done to the truck this weekend.

That’s good that you were able to get them. My neighbor had it real bad before Christmas and was able to get antibodies too. He said it helped him fast.
I’m just out of my quarantine period. My 11 month old daughter and I tested positive last weekend.

yeah, they're like a miracle. My wife has it now and is pretty sick and my 11 yr old has / had it. She had a sore throat for one night and then she was fine.

That would be great, if it worked. But the ATV's and dirtbikes aren't supposed to be back there anyway so a permit isn't going to solve the issue. And the asshates rutting out the trails can still do so with a permit. It's really a shame at the amount of people who ruin it, but it's a nationwide issue.

To be honest I am more concerned about the illegal dumping I constantly see in the Pines vs motorized vehicle use. But for some reason that never gets any attention?

It does by some preservationists. But If the preservationists worked with the offroaders to help keep the trails clean maybe that would be a good compromise instead of being on opposite sides. I.E. trail clean up runs...etc. There will always be dumping there. Even with permitted vehicles.

Love it, it came with the house when i bought it. Heats the small living room i have about 200 square feet nicely even with a loft ceiling. It's circa 1982 and can burn coal and wood but stick to Oak. I have it out set from a fireplace and just need to get a proper lining and it should last as long as I'm there. I also use a thermal fan on top which helps.

I've been to pines clean ups before but last year we tried to organize one. I called the state, county, and local towns. Nobody would take the garbage. Their recommendation to me was to purchase a dumpster and pay to have it taken away.

The preservationists surely could arrange something.

I'd be happy to organize it. I could easily get 100+ rigs out there to help. If you have any contact info or ideas just let me know. I'll shoot for April.

Al Horner is one of those megalomaniacs that thinks he knows what’s best for the world. Maybe once he dies we can get back to enjoying the land there. He’s part of the reason why campsites in Wharton have the permit spaces now like we are renting a hotel room. I’ve not gone back there since they created that stupid online reservation system, why do I need to pay to reserve a spot to camp in a state where I pay taxes, let alone a campsite that has no amenities other than a fire pit.

Yea sounds nice. I picked up a thermal fan as well. I think my issue is my garage is a drafty 575sq feet with flood vents and main garage door not sealed. Maybe I’ll try to seal more to optimize the little stove. Already closed off my exhaust fan, found the heat goin up and right out threw the louvers with incense.

Do you keep all you split wood small?
