Whats funny is its actually cheaper to buy a whole new aftermarket front bumper than it is to buy those. Aftermarket front bumpers range from $90-$180...

*before anyone says "thats aftermarket, OEM is super expensive" yes, but the bumper cap things from r4t are also aftermarket.

No experience with them directly, but some other post or article made me take a look at customer experiences...
When you look at the reviews, sorting by most recent, and there is nothing but 1 star reviews, detailing all sorts of comm and transaction issues, going back months.... stay away!

When they came out the paint matched ones were only $225. I bought a set but then decided to go with SSO full plate, that requires cutting them anyways.

Hahaha. Nah, not a quarter as dangerous as me and my friends when we were not much old that my kids tying truck innertubes to a go-kart with studded tires and racing around a neighborhood on snow-covered streets..... There's only one section of the drive where we could get going at a decent pace and there was no chance they'd hit the truck or anything else.

Next time, find a spot where you can get the truck to do some four wheel drive donuts and give the kids a science lesson in centrifugal force. Absolutely no chance you run them over, but a slight chance you could send them into Low Earth Orbit.

These are a wonderful idea. I would buy this no question and just throw my OEM bumper in the attic so i can reinstall it if i want to go back stock.

$350 isnt really much painted. You can prob sell your OEM bumper for money to offset the cost of these.

Still able to use steering wheel controls? I don't think it's a dire necessity but kinda sucks losing that.

Thanks y0. When I ordered the suspension I specced them and the shock bodies to be black cerakoted instead of the normal clear. Love how it turned out.

I may or may not have an unhealthy addition to Eagle talons. I had a 91 turbo AWD talon from 18-21ish. I Loved that car. Had the motor blew up in it right after I moved to Texas. Rode my bike to work till I could afford a second car, and rebuilt it. Did a forged rebuild, had a 16G turbo and DSM link. I was almost read to turn up the boost when I was hit by a drunk driver on I-10 6 hours from home. Guy didn't have insurance and I essentially lost everything.

Fast forward to my 30's, I found an identical car for sale locally with a blown motor. Needles to say it followed me home that day.

I have a built short block in a spare bedroom. I am hoping to get it finished someday but have been mostly focused on growing the side business when I have time off from my day job.

This one is staying non-turbo, just gonna be an occasional cruiser. The main issue I have with this one is rust. I've been working on cutting it all out and replacing it, but just keep finding more. Even the rear sub-frame beam is gonna need pulled completely out and patched/plated. I just can't let it die just yet. It was my late friends mothers car that she bought when we were teenagers. Even replaced the engine in it when we were 16. Has that sentimental value to me. I'll never get my money back outta this one.
