Got my Bed Lights and 3rd Brake Light wired it. To easy of a project will dress up the Brake Light wire better. Will slide Loom over the exposed wire at the light and then anchor it the rest of the way. Bed Lights are brite and the Adapter was so east to use and kept the job clean. A couple black thin Tie/Wraps and it is finished.

Tough day for my Tacoma with 15k miles. Local Body shops backed up until March, no new OffRoads at the local dealership, no rent a trucks available and I’m sure the guys insurance want recognize any of this info into the equation. If it’s totaled, how would a customer buy- back work with $18k still on loan?0C1F79A7-D5CB-4050-90DB-0F59A8C28D85.jpg E6B3835D-54D5-4490-8775-081E0886B233.jpg C4E7CDCE-D6FA-437A-8215-4BD9C24C3DC6.jpg

Oh that sucks dude. I think the first conversation would be with your insurance. Worst case, you might be able to buy it back from Copart or wherever the insurance company ships it if they total it.

Oof, judging by the damage and apparent force of impact, i'd be willing to bet the frame is tweaked. Hopefully it just the bed but.. He pretty much went full speed into the tow hitch which is bolted to the frame. Ouch.

Chances are the private party value of your truck is higher than whatever you owe on your loan. Should it be totalled, the insurance company would pay off your loan and issue a check to you for the difference. If you want to buy it back you'll have to negotiate their buy back price, but either way the loan would need to be paid off first and then you would have to hope the remainder covers the buy back value of the truck or else you will be out of pocket.

In another light, if the damage isn't too extensive, they'll just repair it and cover the cost. Whatever body shop you take it to, make sure they check every nook and cranny to ensure that all damaged parts are covered and no damages are left undiscovered and unrepaired if they go the route of repair. Fine tooth comb.

Dang - that sux! Let your insurance company fight it out with his. Hopefully, nobody was hurt. You should be covered for a rental while it's being fixed (if possible). Frame looks pretty buckled in the bed.

$350 isnt really much painted. You can prob sell your OEM bumper for money to offset the cost of these.[/QUOTE]
R4T also has some affiliate codes floating around, for example using "TALONSEI" will save 5% – I believe just on items made by R4T at check out.

I would go for and push a Total on that truck with that frame damage ect. Your resale later will be bad showing a wreck! Hidden damage in other places in the frame hit that hard knocking it out of alignment.

So sorry about your truck. Another scum bag probably texting. Hope his or her teeth ate some steering wheel. I hope you stated neck and back pain to responding officer. If not when you do civilian accident report you can add it. Go to ER and have it billed to the other guys auto insurance. Get attorney and stick it to the fucker.

Built me a portable shower system for my Tacoma. Made it using a 12v Dewalt adapter. I like this as a good alternative from the other Lithium power pack. I always have dewalt batteries around. Now I need to figure out a good mounting system for the can.

Sometimes thats what we have to do and that is unfortunate. Flip the key to face the dash. A slide hammer will easily pull the key cylinder out of those. Just my .02

Swapped out my radio knobs again! I think I like these way better than the AJT's. Just seems cleaner.

I installed the same last week, but mounted it a bit higher, which made the radar(?) cover obstruct part of the camera's view.

Pro tip here is to install the app and fire up "live view" before mounting to ensure good placement. Especially because the adhesive will only work one time and a new mount costs $10 (Garmin doesn't sell replacement adhesive, you need to buy the whole ball assembly).
